the app is amazing! just wondering, however, whether it would be a possible option soon to rename the categories in lowercase, instead of having the first letters capitalized by default. that would be amazing for minimalists like me! anw, i hope more people find this app!

Hi okay. So I love Emerald. The concept is so cool and the interface is so cute, simple, and easy to learn. I even bought the Pro version. I never do this, but I do have some feedback to give to y’all because there are some bugs and things that need fixing: Firstly, the budgets section is buggy; there is a section that says “$1,234 available” underneath the amount already spent for each budget category. For me, it’s stuck on some number over in the $5000s and I don’t know why cuz Lord knows I ain’t got that much to spend freely 😭. It doesn’t even deduct whenever a new expense is added. Computing error? Secondly, spending categories also have a computing error; I added four expenses on a day, two in the food category and two in the life/transportation category. Whenever you go to budgets, and scroll to the “Top spending this month” area, the two categories have completely different money values to the ones I added on expenses. For example, I spent a total of $20.20 on food, but the spending total says I have a total of $40.20 spent on food & drinks. Especially the Life category tweaking cuz it said I spent $111.94… I only spent $17 😭😭. Lastly, I think one day y’all should have bank-integration so that whenever a purchase is made through it, the system could automatically sort it through the categories? Just a thought. BUTTT lemme say, y’all category sorting is A1 😩; like when I’m adding an expense and say it’s from Uber or the transit service, it automatically knows what category it’s in. Hey there! I’ve been searching for a solid budgeting/tracking app, and I think Gem might just be the one. I really value good design over an overload of features, and your app nails it. The UI is stunning—seriously, great job to you! Love the currency and foreign currency feature as well! That said, while the app looks amazing, I think the UX could use a bit of polish to make it more intuitive. Sometimes it gets a little confusing. For instance, when I added my stock portfolio as an account, it wasn’t obvious that I needed to add it to tracking to set the balance. That aside, the app is fantastic, and your hard work really shows. As a developer myself, I know how hard it can be to get actionable feedback. If you ever need more details or specific input, I’d be happy to help!

The App is a Wonderful Creation by a Beautiful hearted person. This is a Masterpiece among the crowd of Money hungry Apps. Thank you to the developer for creating this app.

App has really thoughtful design however it need more work in the area of data import. When you import data from other app in csv format, it first crashes multiple times and then the categories get created with a blank squeeze and then you cannot edit those categories further. It takes you to data edit when actually you want to edit newly created categories. Apart from these issues I still it is a good attempt by developer and I appreciate it.

Meet an app developer who is spending good efforts to constantly update his app but doesn’t expect you to buy some in-app features. Great design and feature rich. I guess the developer is putting efforts to make this app great consistently over a period of time. Highly recommended.
