Brilliant app, Only one suggestion, seeing if email connection can be apple emails- iCloud- as all my receipts are to this email as it is my only one

In regards to tracking my online info yeah it’s good especially if you want to see an insight to what you’ve been doing but really who does that. We’re here for the rewards and their rubbish. Half of the rewards are available to everyone not just app users, a lot of free stuff but you have to either pay delivery or subscribe with a monthly payment, I’m fairly certain the gift cards aren’t real, every single time you click to redeem their all gone even if you get there right at opening time.

The value proposition of Gener8 is to keep your data private or earn you money from it’s use. In reality it is just another app with a coupon based points store. An in game currency if you will. It is not worth the time or effort. If you care about your data privacy you would be much better suited checking your browser privacy and ad settings and using a trusted vpn. Would not recommend this app. A waste of time and phone storage.

I like the idea of getting something in return for sharing my personal data but honestly rewards are so bad. As other people have said it’s 3rd party discounts and offers and most of them lock you in for subscription so you have to watch out and cancel before you get charged. Also these offers are not worth paying 5 points or whatever the ask is. Free hello fresh 1st box or Virgin wine 14£ wine tasting set are already available from those vendors without generate points so why would I spend my points on that? As someone mentioned the only useful things are gift cards which are scarce and near impossible to get. At this point you can’t get much in rewards so not worth sharing your data with gener8.

So hard to delete. Think thats why a lot of people are still users.

Since I have connected all of my accounts and gained points, I have found it really difficult finding rewards. In particular, gift cards, the time spent checking for rewards is just not worth the effort. Poor experience.

Literally waited, and I clicked on the redeem gift card option as soon as it turned to 0 seconds left on the countdown and it was already claimed. What a joke

Ok my issue with the app is it feels very personal requesting access and the ability to edit emails which just doesn’t sit right with me. But regardless I’m aware that your information is out there anyway so there’s no real point fighting it. Another issue I’ve faced and the reason I’m giving it 3 stars is even after you sign up to everything on the app you don’t get full access to the rewards so you can’t even utilise all aspects of the app. Think it should be worked on before so commercially advertised. The potential is there just doesn’t feel finished and feels intrusive.

Absolute waste of time. Barely anything to claim and I was on the exact time to claim a gift card and within one second all sold out. Promoting other companies like beer subscriptions and the usual tosh. Don’t bother.
