Really loving the active recall and AI tutor to further explain answers. Could there be an update where we can have multiple choice questions that are exam-formatted? Kind of like Quizlet?

i couldn’t deal with the millions of lectures and i can barely pay attention to youtube videos about these topics. but this app actually helped me and i had so much fun learning with this app. thank you so much🙏🙏

I’ve encountered a potential glitch while using the “Learn” and “Memorize” features on the mobile version of Gizmo, and I wanted to bring it to your attention. Here’s what I’ve experienced: • When I press “Learn” then “Memorize,” and the quiz loads, sometimes the words appear, but the entire definition is missing, even though the quizzable words are set to only a few selected ones. • Additionally, when I try to type in the answer, the text field becomes unresponsive—I can’t click into the blank space or type anything. This issue occurs intermittently, and it makes it challenging to use these features on mobile effectively. I’d appreciate it if you could investigate this or let me know if there’s something I can adjust on my end to fix the issue. This app wrongfully charged me $75 for pretty much no benefits. It has no contact support and limits you to a certain amount of questions/usage. Honestly wish I never even used this stupid thing. I WOULD RATE IT NEGATIVE 100 if I could.

I would have given it a 5 stars if they would fix the magic uploading problem. It was perfectly fine the very first time I used it uploading 144 pictures and after that, every single time before I was finished taking pictures, it was just kick me out and I’d have to start again. Sometimes I’d just upload like 8 pictures and take one picture, press submit, and then it kicks me out. Other times, it would say like “There’s a problem with uploading” with red letters and whatnot and I can’t even submit these photos!! It just loads and the submit button is basically broken. Please fix this because I’ve wasted so much time trying to upload these pictures and since I can only upload 2 times a day for free, I can’t just upload and submit like 5 pictures each time. Please do something about it because it’s really making me think twice every time I want to use it.

Trash if you include images of your notes they take like a quarter of the content and the rest they include randomly generated garbage

This app is a most for student game changer

If you’re not taking you classes in english, it’ll make u flash cards in english which often dont have the right vocabulary. When you ask it something, it has a set amount of questions it has to ask and sometimes they just make it take longer to answer for no reason. It also gets super laggy sometimes for no apparent reason and don’t even get me started on how it looses your work. I fully regret paying for this and definetly wish i’d gone to something like mind grasp that looks way more professional. Don’t get it bro

when i upload a pdf with my notes, the flashcards made dont even include more than half of my notes

I wasn’t prompted to write this! I never ever write reviews. Sometimes I’m skeptical of reviews. But I think all students should use this app. honestly, I’m a student who will sit there and REWRITES lecture slides and notes, hundreds of slides. I’ve wasted insane amounts of time, just to never look at my notes again. With this method I find I loose out on time for actually STUDYING and practicing the material with spaced repetition. This app, lets me rewrite my notes, but then engage with them as much as I want. It formulates questions for you in different ways too, rearranging the key words it quizzes you on. Sometimes it gets you to type the answer, or guess the answer by multiple choice, or it’ll show you the back of the card first and have you guess the front. You can upload pictures into your cards and so on. YOU CAN ALSO JUST UPLOAD YOUR LECTURE SLIDES OR POWERPOINTS INTO THE APP AND IT AUTOMATICALLY GENERATES QUESTIONS FOR YOU!! I sit on the bus and I’m able to use that “wasted time” commuting, by actually just forcing myself to go through a deck of cards because it’s so accessible. I have gizmo linked on my computer and phone,…and honestly I could just go on… because I’m personally excited that I’ve found a new way to study. You guys should try this. I’m surprised there’s not a higher review on this app!
