Gymcatch - Book Fitness

I’ve been using GymCatch for a little over a year for my business and it is by far the most affordable and functional booking system. The messages seem to glitch and not list them in order of most recent conversations which makes it hard to locate a message in a full inbox, & the calendar takes a while to load but for the amount of benefits at the ridiculously low price, it is well worth it. I have been able to take on so much more work simply due to someone else (the app) taking the bookings for me. Customer service is quick to respond and helpful too

Great program with easy to use and customisable features. I’ve been using GymCatch to manage bookings and memberships for about 2 years and it’s been fantastic. Customer service is also outstanding!

Love being able to book through the app, so convenient. Ensures you get a place at class in advance and a great way for the instructor to manage numbers, contact tracing etc. The messaging is annoying as you only see messages from your fitness provider and not your responses or initial message so you can’t see the full conversation

I attend Zumba classes & the booking system for classes & packages is really easy. My 1 complaint is that you can’t delete any of the messages - hence 4* rating, any chance this can be changed?

Despite my notifying them that my wife Georgina died in 2022 the app still continues to send her notifications

I’m a Private Personal Trainer and recently started running Small Group Classes in the studio I’m currently working. I was looking for an app for my classes especially- and found GymCatch simply brilliant, has all of the features I needed for that, not to mention the price is affordable for the features even with extra bolt on-s. As a self employed person it helps me a ton with organising the bookings and finances side and I can now have a peace of mind around that, too. Building up the system might seem to bit tricky first, but once you get the gist of it and know what you’re doing, the set-up is very smooth. The videos are also helpful: very well detailed and easy to follow + the customer service is excellent. Simon and Ollie are so kind and helped me a ton, as a newbie I felt lost in the beginning, but not anymore. Highly recommend!

The app is ok, but my out of date bookings do not disappear, which clutters my bookings history. I do not see any way to clear the backlog, so please could you add a feature to clear old bookings or reverse the date order to latest date first. Thanks!

The app is amazing but I don’t seem to be able to search by location. If I search for a class it shows me classes from all over the country which isn’t helpful at all

There are niggles with this app that disadvantage the customer. Must shopping apps are careful to deal with user error. Gymcatch takes advantage. There is no alert when cancelling sessions to remind you there will not be a refund due to the 24hr policy and neither does it ask the customer to confirm they want to cancel. Consequently it is easy to make a mistake. Can’t help but think it’s designed that way for financial advantage…

I find this app very sluggish and often freezes (several seconds of delay after tapping a button) but that’s not my issue with the app. It is poorly designed and executed. When I book a session, I have to select my profile and then select ‘view booking options’. (Why? I’m on my account so it’s a given it’s my account and I’m a single user.) It’s not ‘booked’ at this stage. When I then ‘view the booking options’ there are no options, only a message saying ‘Great, you’ve booked’. This is a completely unnecessary step. There is an option to cancel at the top - but it’s not the option to cancel your booking, it’s a cancel to leave button. This makes no sense. You should select the session you’re booking, hit ‘book’ and then get a message to say ‘great, you’ve booked’. Once that’s done you should be able to select a finish or exit button, even better if it took you back to the sessions menu. When I go to my bookings and click on a session I’ve booked in the future I get two options: ‘Manage bookings’ and ‘Book’. ‘Book’ is a big red button. However, I’ve already booked so the option to book should’ve be there. When I click on it to re-book in case I’ve made a mistake, I see the message ‘this user is already attended’. Poor grammar. I’ve no idea why the Book button appears when I’m already booked. It says the session is finished when it’s just started. It won’t let me check-in when the session had started, only before it. This app definitely needs a bit of work. It’s unintuitive and confusing.
