DoDonPachi Resurrection HD

Great that you guys bringing back the games with update for later IOS! Now PLEASE update Mushihimesama Futari!

I’m a seasoned and longtime Dodonpachi player, and I’ve known how to play Dodonpachi: Daifukkatsu (Resurrection) ever since it first came out. To players who download this game, both young and old: just don’t. In Arcade Mode, in order to move on to the Ura path (the true full game/path to the true last boss), you have to destroy the circular silos at the start of level 1 before the tanks can run over them. I have tried countless combinations of ships and Styles, and nothing works to move on to the Ura path - I am alw a fantastic game is ruined by someone’s carelessness.

This game is amazing and I’m really glad I can even purchase it. With that being said PLEASE PLEASE can we have updates to the other CAVE games!? I will gladly buy all games at full price no lite version to support you. I want more cave on my iPhone! I’m looking at you bug princess 2 and espgulada!

Bought this game a while ago, just now writing a review. Love it every time I play and I never get tired of it. Been coming back to it for almost ten years, lol. Glad Cave has a platform in mobile gaming.

Please update espgulada 2 so I can buy it and other games

Donpachi and Dodonpachi are some of my favorite games, ported to iOS, featuring a responsive and easy to use interface.

Say it's HD? Is this resolution worth the price? At the same time, no update for half a year!

And so far loved the game. Was in love with the Original Gradius game back from the PS2 and tried downloading anything that came close to it but this is a whole different game that is worth while and love it so far!

The best bullet hell shmup on the Phone, period. Better late than never. Now, ESPGALUDA PLEASE! Thanks, CAVE.

***NOTE*** Still, after today's update (October 23, 2019) I can not, for the life of me, enter the 'hidden' loop on this version of the game (that you need to enter in order to get all 45 bees). I can do it about 99% of the time while playing the old (SD) version and the Steam version, but for some reason this HD build will not let me do it (unless I'm in practice mode and have the 'hidden loop' option turned to 'On'). I think the ship's shots (both laser and the regular shot), for some reason, don't reach up into the top part of the screen as far as they do in all the other builds of this game. But--I can now move my ship while my finger is in the border area, so thank you for that fix!! And now for my review, posted after the September 2019 update:;: I've had the original SD build of DoDonPachi Resurrection since the beginning of 2011.... I STILL play it these days, as I have an old iPhone 5 run in iOS 7 that I keep around because of all the games that still play on it. Anyway:;: today, CAVE updated 4 of their iOS games, and this HD build was the only one I didn't already own. I figured I'd just purchase it to show some support, but then I would up clearing some space on my 6S (which is a pain, as it's only a 16GB model) and installing this alongside the other 3. To my own surprise, this was the first of the recently updated games that I booted up and started playing. I hit the OMOTE loop in Smartphone Mode on my first game, so it lasted a bit longer than I thought it would. Anyway.... this HD build looks ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDING compared to the 'original' version. So-anyone questioning if it's worth the purchase/double-dip, I would have to say YES, INCREDIBLY worth it! To anyone that hasn't played DDPR yet, if you're a danmaku fan... GET. THIS. GAME. NOW! Old-school shmup fans might have a harder time getting into it, but for all of us bullet-curtain fanatics, there's always that 'first game', right? This could very well be yours... And now, to the developers::: CAVE, it took a while, but you have offered the fans of your games an early XMAS today, and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you SO VERY MUCH for these updates. And while I hope that the rest of your catalog receives the same treatment, if it doesn't, these 4 titles getting updated is more than I thought us iOS shmupers would ever get, and I could not be happier. Again, THANK. YOU. SO. MUCH!!!
