HeartPeace

Best biofeedback tool I've ever used. Has most pleasant auditory feedback of all: from a noisy crowd talking, to really deep sounds of meditating monks — depending on your inner state. So: no boring beeps or tones. I contacted the developer several times, and he was very responsive. Great app!

Works. I compared measurements with registration by means of my Oura-ring, and Heartpeace seems accurate (using te camera as sensor). The great advantage of Heartpeace is ofcouse its real-time feedback.

Instead of HRV It uses something called a HeartPeace score, which seems to be proprietary and undocumented. Apparently based on how your heart rate matches deep breathing. If there were some documented evidence of its usefulness I would be more satisfied with it.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work as well with iPhone 15 Pro as it did with iPhone X using finger. I tried and tried, and will have to wait til I'm home with my HRM strap to try that instead. Thank you!

I can't believe how much fun this app is and what a great deal it is. Using a HRM I already own, I'm quickly learning to calm my body and mind with this simple but powerful app. Highly recommend.

For anybody looking for an app to help them relax, improve their heart rate variability, or help them get into meditation when they haven’t been able to do it before, this is the one for you. This app is so much simpler than virtually any other biofeedback app I’ve ever used, and yet it is one of the best apps on my phone. I have achieved easily double the HRV score with this app that I do with others. The app provides most of the functionality for free, and the premium upgrade is a one time 7 dollar charge. This is orders of magnitude cheaper than other apps that I use that are far less useful. I would, in fact, happily pay seven dollars a month for this app! Thank you so much for making it. I’m sorry that it hasn’t been widely adopted, but you have really helped me to find a way to relax myself in just a couple minutes throughout the day. I’ve never found meditation to be helpful, and I’ve never been able to get into it. But this app is engaging from the very beginning simply because of the interactivity and the immediate feedback you get from your HRV score.
