I couldn’t be happier with this app. It’s exactly what I was looking for to measure heart coherence. I’m just using the phone camera at the moment as it’s quick and easy. Tuning in a few times a day is really helping my stress levels! If you are looking for an effective biofeedback app then this is it!

This app plays loud people talking at you while measuring your pulse activity, and showing a lot of screen activity in the form of light and coloured specks. Who is going to feel any form of peace with that going on? It will measure using phone camera, which I found gave a ‘poor signal’ message throughout, no matter what adjustments I made, my signal is good so not sure what the problem was there. It recommends using another form of gear to measure, suggests which, I didn’t have any of those, so can’t say if that will improve performance. Wants £7.99 which is just not worth if from my experience with it, just a gimmick.

I have used hearthmath apps and devices in the past to train myself and others. I wanted an app that allows me to use a normal Heart rate monitor, as I am swimming in gadgets and would rather kill 2 birds with one stone. Also to recommend to others, it is 5 times more affordable. I was looking for the app that would do the same live biofeedback, and this does it! Not only does it but the sounds are better than hearthmath apps as is less “shocking” and allows for changing to your preference. All 2 screen modes are great with one showing you a trippy visual and advice on how to reach heart peace, and the other screen just shows you your vitals. I would love for it to have even more sounds, allow for zooming in or out your readings, and maybe allow for recording Sessions. But all in all it is fabulous! 10/10 would recommend!

Instead of HRV It uses something called a HeartPeace score, which seems to be proprietary and undocumented. Apparently based on how your heart rate matches deep breathing. If there were some documented evidence of its usefulness I would be more satisfied with it.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work as well with iPhone 15 Pro as it did with iPhone X using finger. I tried and tried, and will have to wait til I'm home with my HRM strap to try that instead. Thank you!

Great app as it measures HRV but therapeutic as well!!
