I wish there was more to do. In their other app they had kotoba, extra challenges that helped you learn new words based on the category. I just hope they add this in the future. Otherwise, great app.

I think the app is so cute! I wish each lesson would focus on one letter or sound and have more lessons because sometimes I’m trying to memorize but o can’t because it keeps switching to the next. I also would like the penguin to explain what I did wrong because every time I get something wrong I have to guess to get it right. I’m not a full beginner but I’m not fluent either and I agree with the other reviews that they think this is more for review and not to start from scratch and learn. This game teaches me better than Duolingo! Anyways it’s a great game and I love it.
