Cannot start the game
I have paid the monthly subscription and now cannot start the game :(
I don’t like the game
Do you know why I don’t like the game because I’m a kid and I have playing this game. It was starting to be fun but now it’s a little crunchy and I hate it and I think my grandma likes it too much and I hate it so much you should ban itnow if you don’t wanna be talking now, be this game or else
Navigation is a Pain
Math and reading tracks are on different apps. Logins don’t work, God forbid I get logged out of my current app. Even with password resets, logins don’t work in other browsers. It’s absolutely frustrating!!! I will not be going beyond the trial subscription.
Not Working Despite Paying $54 yearly subscription fee
Despite contacting support, reinstalling the app, etc this app keeps prompting me to pay the subscription fee despite paying the $54 for a full year, which my apple account shows is good until June 2025. Not sure what the issue is here but I am not able to access this app at all. Please fix this.

My daughter loves using this app and can see her improvement in her reading skills it’s amazing.
Hate it hate it hate it !!!!
Do not buy this app !!!!!!!! Itdoesn’t even work anymore!!! Tryed emailing them months ago about the pop up add and how now my app doesn’t work and they still haven’t fixed it or gotten back to me. I got this years ago and it said free app for life but now its just spamming me to upgrade for a monthly fee over and over and over. My kids can’t even use it anymore. Not only should you not buy this app don’t buy any of their products if this is how they treat their customers.
It works sometimes
I think my son learned more to read from the fact that I was reading to him growing up than using hooked on phonics, but hooked on phonics anchored in his reading skills. Stuff works a little bit better than the electronic because you literally have to reload all of the games almost every two weeks if you want them to consistently work. it keeps just getting stuck on loading and then he goes to other games so it kind of defeats the purpose when I’m driving and I’m asking him to do something educational because he uses patience and I lose patience with the fact that I have to download and reload and re-reset the password every single time it’s so frustrating.
I feel like an infomercial but…
…. Wow it really works! My 5 year old was literally reading simple sentences at the end of week two and only used the app 15 minutes/day 5 days/week. Totally sold on this and referring my friends!
The commercials in the 90’s didn’t lie!
My little pre k man was having a hard time with sight words and getting really frustrated in school. I tried to help him at home so he would have the confidence he needed at school. We both ended up frustrated and I decided that maybe he just wasn’t ready to read. Then I saw and ad for hooked on phonics. All I could think of were the commercials from the 90’s. “Hooked on phonics worked for me!”. I had serious reservations but gave it a shot. My son has worked his way through most of the first month’s materials and is thriving! He asks me for more time with his workbook. The difference is amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone who has someone who is struggling.
