Rubbish app and bank
HSBC is my savior. It’s so useful for saving and checking my balance daily. The time from when I transfer from one account to another account/ payee is so FAST!
Works well
Love the quick transactions and convenient payment schedule
It’s a shame that the UK app is significantly more equipped than what this is. This is very very basic. Also the website when transferred to the website when needed, it has a lot of errors and bugs. Shame.
I would like to send payment every months and would like the option to do so
App works okay. Very very basic app. Can’t manage direct debits or standing orders. Can’t set up new payees, have to do online. No transaction analysis like many other banks offer. The app shows your balance before pending transactions, it would be better to show post pending as your main balance like it does on the website.
On the old app it was simple to use and make credit card payments
Easy to use
Can’t quite believe how bad this app is, after moving all my banking from another provider (Lloyds), I find this app is so bad I’m thinking of leaving HSBC and going somewhere else (or even, god forbid, back to Lloyds). Just so so basic… I can’t set up a standing order? Seriously? Can’t see any Direct Debits? Can’t manage (or even see any details for) my cards? Can’t check or amend my contact details? No secure messaging facility? — In fairness to the app, it does let me take a photo of a cheque to be deposited into an account… which is a facility that is so useful in 2024, think I last received a cheque in the early 2000’s? Pretty much sums up the app actually, it’s about as flexible and up-to-date as using a cheque book. — Edited to add: oh, I can’t get transaction notifications either - fantastic 🙄
