This screaming “news” app has became unreadable. Between every single “news” story receiving the same National Enquirer SCREAMING URGENCY, regardless of how important or trivial and the ridiculous pop-up filmed ads, this app worthless.

IOS 18.1.1, iPhone 15. App crashes at least once per attempt to scroll. Either a black screen or the whole thing just crashes and disappears. This has been going on for at least two years.

Overrun with ads and Buzzfeed “articles” hawking goods. Are you managed by the same people as the Democratic Party? lol…

There is no app support. Can no longer automatically go to top of page by hitting the HuffPost I on. Now you have to scroll manually. Ads take up ⅓ of the page real estate and they don’t disappear for ten seconds. I hate this app more and more.

One of the worst apps on my phone. Every single time I use it it’s glitchy and buggy. Regardless of how many times I updated. Up your game, HuffPost.

Useless junk, never open, dumb dumb dumb

Recently updated and now my favorites section is gone! I can add to favorites in Explore but I can’t view them! I used to be able to swipe left and right to change sections. I’ll never understand the point of releasing and update to an app that makes it worse. Beyond that, it’s a solid app.

Love HuffPost but some changes have caused some decline. I read this site several times daily so sometimes articles remain on the site a little too long, imho. I’m love the funniest pet tweets, and parent tweets, etc of the week but often they’re difficult to locate. Can they be grouped in a tab for easy access? Since the new ownership the site is inundated with ads and popups. Please consider offering for a reasonable onetime or annual fee, as gaming apps do, for the option to block them. I’m sure you would receive an overwhelming response. Thank you for your consideration of my feedback. 9/24/24 This is an update to my previous. I no longer believe the newsletter is in decline. It seems the pet, parent and spouse tweets are not posted weekly, but a few weeks later there will be several weeks of the columns. I know I didn’t miss them because I check your app several times daily. Still my favorite political news app. ❤️

I'm a paid supporter, but in one of the updates, suddenly the app tells me how many articles I've read and asks for support. Apparently, paid subscribers can hide that on the computer app, but I almost exclusively view it on my phone. Please add this option on the phone app. It's very frustrating to see that when I've already paid to support you.

I’ve had this app since 2009 and it used to be great but now they’re more interested in delivering ads, plugs for shopping, being a billboard for Amazon, and serving clickbait. Buggy and slow, it freezes my whole phone (never had ANY app do that) it’s trash! It was good while it lasted but as with most institutions it’s too greedy now. Folks should download the AP app instead. Bye, bye HuffPost!
