To deselect an item you have to press + and to select an item you press x !! It’s the opposite of what it should be. After deselecting all the crap stuff I don’t want to see it’s still coming up. I’ll wait a few hours for the antiquated technology to catch up. If it’s not fixed I’ll delete the app. Reuters looks much better.

This app is a dumpster fire of poorly sized images (when they’re not just broken), broken links, bad formatting, trying to take you to the desktop version etc. The app needs a complete overhaul.

Recently the app has caused a few glitches which I’m unable to sort. One is that every time I open a different article I am asked about cookie/privacy settings. The other is that the text wobbles when it is between 2adverts on the same screen, making it very difficult to read the article. Sadly, if it continues, I shall be deserting Huff Post for good.

A very small font to decline location tracking and very close to a big ENABLE button, make it difficult to decline. Too tricky by half.

Had had this app for a while. Tonight I was presented with a permissions dialog that I’d never seen before. It is crafted to ensure that users fail to opt out of as many “options” as possible. Finding anything other than “agree” is difficult as the options button is hidden behind something else on screen. And then everything is pre-checked to give consent, including a list of what looks like hundreds of “partners” with no option to reject all. Unlawful. App immediately deleted and not coming back.

The app is slow with many ads. It will be great if they can make it like the guardian, yes with ads m, but at least less laggy and the ads are less in the way

Deleting because of the ridiculous amount of data being harvested. Options are hidden behind the logo and then there are hundreds of companies you have to go through manually. It’s a total joke.

Lacks news content and far too much entertainment content. Try and change this in the settings but there is no way to save changes so the next time I open the app I get little news and lots about minor celebrities.
