HWPO Training encompasses fitness programs created for a community of HARD WORKERS, inspired by 5x CrossFit Games Champion, Mat Fraser’s motto “Hard Work Pays Off”.
The HWPO Training app offers a variety of programs to suit different lifestyles, goals, equipment accessibility, and skill levels. Whether you need to be in and out of the gym in 45 minutes or you’re training to be an elite-level competitor, HWPO Training has a workout program for you.
Athletes can track their progress using personalized sessions based on individual performance metrics and celebrate their achievements on the real-time leaderboard. The app also provides coaching videos by Mat Fraser himself, as well as our team of world-class expert coaches, guiding members through every training session and providing demos of each exercise.
Our HARD WORKERS also gain access to our members-only support platform, where they can ask questions, receive feedback, watch exclusive content and engage with others in the community around the world. No matter how or where you move, all we ask is that you live out our core values in and out of the gym:
SHOW UP. Do today what others won’t so tomorrow you can do what others can’t.
WORK HARD. Define success for yourself and be relentless in your pursuit of it; it’s about the process.
MAKE YOURSELF PROUD. Do things with intention and set an example of HARD WORK for those around you.

This thing is amazing. The design is well thought out, flawless execution, and every little detail has been put in place. From the tick box of what you’ve done training wise, the videos, both intro for the day, to the movement videos in case you weren’t sure or familiar with a new movement. And the percentage calculations just making your life easier.

A great program indeed! I think I’ll stick to it for as long as possible. ❤️🦾
I’m with this app for programming
The programming is amazing, app functionality is zero
Strong Program - Review
Program is “ok” at best. This is definitely geared to CrossFit guys/gals looking to add some strength, not powerlifters looking to progress. You can’t track accessory sets, reps or weights…this might be fine for some communities where they just rep out more, however, as a powerlifter I keep a detailed history of accessory work. As accessories work lbs come up each week, my weak points (what accessory work should be geared toward) improve thus improving my overall strength. The week tracking and inability to adjust is frankly annoying at best, you will see this repeated in almost all the comments.
TLDR: If your an experienced strength athlete this app is not for you. Lack of detailed tracking makes it questionable for most in my opinion.
Programming is awesome, app needs improvement
The programming of this app is excellent, workouts, the demonstration videos and coaching. The app itself has limited functionality. It does not allow for inputting individual weight for each set or how many reps completed, or to mark off each set completed. It does have a notes section, but if I have to keep track of that info in the notes section I might as well have a spreadsheet or a notebook. Also, having to have a separate account and login for gowod is inconvenient, everything for the workout should be ready to go. I was looking forward to starting the strong program but the functionality of the app just didn’t work for me. This is coming from someone who used the naked app for a few years, I have an understanding of these workouts and I was disappointed since I really wanted to focus on a powerlifting routine.
Excellent App and programming.
I have tried a few home programs for CrossFit, HWPO has the best app out of all of them. The Strong and 60 programs are laid out very well in the app and makes it easy to determine each segment of the days workout.
I had better results after one cycle of the Strong program than after two years of in person CrossFit classes. I just started the 60 program, too early to tell results but the sections are all tied together nicely and it is enjoyable so far.
Amazing programming
The app is amazing, the programming is amazing and the how to videos are too.
The could be better with an in app timer
For time,amraps , intervals
the app does have other purchases features for warm up n cools down for the WOD which takes away from the app.
fix these minor things and this would be the perfect app
Great App!
Things I love
Showing percentages
Easy interface for different tracks
Videos for all movements and briefing for the day
Things I wish were better
Benchmark history
Specifics to how some workouts should be scored
An option to switch days? Might be available but if you want to do Tuesday on a Wednesday, I wish there was an option to swap. Just an example.
Overall. SugarWOD should take some cues from this app.
