iAnnotate 4 — PDFs & more

links in pdf to external(other) pdf file is not working (in version 3 works fine) its not clear how to run context search through library now (is it indxing files in v4???) then trying to download large folder from dropbox always show error “no internet connection” upd: Devs is on the way to fix it.

Лучше пока не нашел. Нижеупомянутого iannotate pdf в поиске app store увы не нашел, так что сравнить не могу. Наверное не ра работает на ios 11. В общем, в этой версии меня все устраивает. Все очень удобно. Но есть одно НО! Разработчики, добавьте функцию как в ibooks - фиксация линии прочтения текста. То есть когда делаешь зум и мотаешь влевр-вправо, чтобы моталось именно влево и вправо, а не по всем 4 направлениям, то есть включая вниз и вверх, когда это не нужно. Доставляет небольшие неудобства

Приложение часто вылетает. Iannotate pdf работает гораздо стабильнее. Несколько раз приложение вылетало с открытым PDF, в результате чего документ пропадал. Из-за нескольких вылетов пришлось перейти на другое приложение для работы с PDF.

The app is generally awesome, but the conversion from docx to pdf keeps failing today. I use the app to grade, and delays add up. Please fix this.

The app is missing Apple Pencil Pro squeeze gestures. Other than that, it is good. IAnnotate would be great if it could take full advantage of the squeeze gesture for the pencil pro.

I’ve used this app for years and love it… when it works. Periodically, though, it glitches and I end up losing hours of editing work. This happens when I open a Word document on my iPad and write on it but then somehow the PDF file it saves is corrupted and I can’t open it with any application on any platform. I sync iAnnotate with DropBox and even going to version history is a dead end. I’m on the market for a new go-to PDF mark-up app because this has happened so frequently.

Other than that, it’s great

This is a very nice app, I enjoyed it to read documentations and add notes with my iPad. The integration with online storage is nice too. I will update the review with more detail after I used it for a bit longer. There are a couple small suggestions already 1. I organize things on dropbox, and the folder is a few levels down from the root. At the moment it is not clear how to add the folder into a more easily accessible place (now I need to click through it every time which takes ~1 minute) 2. Storing on local = in some internal place not accessible from the files app. If it can be a folder there things can be more versatile.
