iCab Mobile is a web browser for iOS. iCab Mobile is customizable in almost all areas and can thus be made into your very own personal browser.
PRIVACY:
In private mode, no private data is saved permanently. Special private tabs increase privacy even further, with only a small loss of comfort.
PROFILES/USER ACCOUNTS:
Any number of profiles/user accounts can be created, with each profile having its own settings, bookmarks, etc. Profiles are suitable for an iPad that is used by the whole family, but also for users who want to separate professional and private surfing.
TABS, WINDOWS:
iCab Mobile can open any number of websites simultaneously in tabs. Tabs can be saved and organized in groups so that they can easily be loaded together again later. Tabs can be protected against accidental closing or overwriting.
On the iPad, multiple app instances can be opened as windows (Stage Manager, Split View), even with multiple profiles simultaneously (since iOS 18).
FILTERS:
Filters can be used to block advertising, trackers, etc. Popular filter lists can be used directly (Easylist, AdBlock Plus, uBlock & compatible), but you can also define your own.
USER INTERFACE:
The user interface is freely configurable. Action, context and text selection menus, toolbars and gestures can be adapted to your own needs.
ACCESSIBLE:
The user interface is barrier-free and adapts to the system font size and is compatible with VoiceOver.
BOOKMARKS:
Bookmarks can be organized in folders. “Smart folders” create special collections based on self-defined rules (e.g. the latest bookmarks from the last 2 weeks). Colored labels allow further categorization.
DOWNLOADS:
Download any files and manage the files in the download manager, including unpacking/creating ZIP archives, exporting/importing, etc.
SEARCH:
The app offers a large list of search engines (self-expandable) that you can use to search directly on the web. It is also possible to search on the current page.
WEBSITES:
You can define what websites can and cannot do. Highlight important content with a highlighter, hide unwanted elements, allow buttons to be clicked automatically (e.g. for cookie messages). Control permissions for camera, microphone and sensor usage. Pro users can even inject JavaScript and CSS code into websites to customize them to their liking.
EXPORT/IMPORT:
All data can be exported/imported (for creating backups, data synchronization with other devices/apps)
WIDGETS:
Widgets allow you to control the App and open bookmarks directly from the home screen. Websites can also be displayed directly there.
APPLE WATCH:
Open websites directly on the Apple Watch (albeit limited). Remotely control iCab Mobile on the iPhone from the Watch.

The app includes a store where you can give us a tip via InApp purchase to additionally support the further development of the app. The development of the app takes a lot of time and is a lot of work, which the low purchase price cannot cover. Te sources of income used by the big popular browsers, such as advertising, deals with search engines, tracking etc. are not an option for iCab Mobile.
Tipping is completely voluntary and you won't miss out on any important features if you don't tip. However, users who tip will be given the option to change the app icon as a thank you.

Regular crashes on iPad 2018
Crashes every 8 mins out of nowhere Even with 3rd party filters ads on youtube are still leaking through Long press on dock shows recent files from the “Files” app for no reason (edit: if there are downloads it shows downloads instead so it’s not a bug i guess) Google login didn’t work (Network error #0) until I forced it to use old login system by temporarily setting my Browser ID to IE10 Whenever I open a link redirecting to Twitch it opens the app and after going back to iCab I am greeted with the same error #0, this time for no reason Popout video (iOS feature that allows the video to be floating on top of apps) has no sound after pausing and resuming it. As much as I like all the features the browser has I can’t continue to use it especially because of the crashes. 🙁

Najlepsi prehliadac pre iPad. Mnozstvo funkcii, a pre mna hlavne podpora Dropbox.
Treba zlepsit
No ja zas tak nadseny nie som. Viditelne pomalejsie ako safari, obcas a najma pri nacitavani stranky laguje a so zapnutymi filtrami sa niektore stranky nezobrazuju korektne. Snad to buduci update odstrani ... Ale zalozky, gesta a celkovo GUI su riesene velmi dobre to ano.

Perfektný web browser nabitý funkciami a zároveň jednoduchý a zrozumiteľný, mám kúpené všetky ostatné prehliadače ale tento je fakt naj
Perfektny browser
Mnohe veci, co v safari nie su, tu najdete. Pluginy su zaujmave a postupne ich pridavaju. Instaluju sa velmi jednoducho. iCab ma velke mnozstvo nastaveni, downloader suborov a podporu Dropboxu. Vymenil som ho za Safari. Doporucujem

Viele User beanstanden die Version 11. Bei mir läuft sie super und stabil. Danke, Danke, Danke Übrigens.. ich nutze ICab seit 2011… und mir gefällt‘s immer noch super. Weiter so!
iCab 11 - Vorsicht
Ich verwende den Browser seit langer Zeit. Aber der Update hat mir die gesamte Konfiguration zerschossen. Andauernd kam die Aufforderung, sich als Admin anzumelden. Leider habe ich aber nie ein Passwort dafür vergeben. Am Ende habe ich neu installiert. Aber das Neukonfigurieren ist eine Qual. Die Übernahme von Lesezeichen funktioniert nicht. Nachdem ich festgestellt habe, dass die permanente Speicherung bestimmter Cookies auch nicht mehr funktioniert, habe ich aufgegeben. Schade. Nachtrag: Wenn man auf dem iPad Webseiten mit den Fingern aufzieht verschwindet andauernd die gesamte Webseite. Noch ein Nachtrag: Die Privatsphäre funktioniert nicht mehr richtig. Die letzte Webseite bleibt immer eingeblendet. Es wäre gut, auf die alte Version zurückzugehen. So ist der Browser nicht mehr verwendbar für mich.
Liebe Entwickler,
wenn man sich die Bewertungen so ansieht (leider), wären es doch vielleicht eine gute Idee noch einmal die letzte 10er Version anzubieten… Ich denke mit der aktuellen tun sie sich im Moment keinen großen Gefallen. Auch ich habe viele die hier aufgeführten Probleme und nutze iCab nun auch schon sehr lange… Wenn Sie die v11 auf „Herz und Nieren“ geprüft haben, könnte man das ganze ja nochmal probieren… Ich könnte mir auch vorstellen, dass hier einige das Downgrade in Anspruch nehmen würden. Vielleicht gäbe es ja auch die Möglichkeit, beide Versionen parallel anzubieten, denn dann könnte jeder selbst entscheiden welche man nutzen möchte. Wäre das ein Vorschlag?
Leider Katastrophe
Bin bestimmt schon seit 10 Jahren dabei aber nachdem Update auf 11.xx werde ich wohl endgültig wechseln. Schade aber leider komme ich nicht mehr klar.
