Looks good but: - no gmail openid support - no native app animations - tapping keyboard button is a horrible UX - all text output was gone in a middle of a session, can't continue it Just use a website for now.

Thank you for adding the ability to hide sentence translations and transliterations. I was actually using my finger to hide them when reviewing 😂

I think this app is worth the subscription price. I’ve learned more Japanese with this program then with any other. I’ve used many programs before, but this is the best in my opinion. The only thing I don’t like is that they removed the ‘none of the above” button in the multiple choice quiz. Removing that made the multiple choice quizzes too easy and almost not worth even doing. I really wish they would add back the “none of the above” choice in the multiple choice quizzes. If they did that I would rate this app 5 stars. They could just make it an option to have “none of the above” or not in the settings. I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to add, the app use to be that way... Also the audio is a bit crackly for some reason, a bit annoying but not that big of a deal.

I’m using the app to learn Japanese vocabulary. All words and sentences have audio from native speakers which is great for learning pronunciation.

It's a decent app and I ended up paying the (very high IMHO) $100+ for a year of access. The example sentences are good and help remember the vocabulary and grammar in context. That said, whoever designed the client-server code is an amateur or an imbecile. The app is constantly stalled waiting for the server, instead of synchronising gracefully in the background. After a minute, it gives you the option to resubmit... Which loses your progress for that lesson. WTF? Who cares about synchronising progress every damn lesson? Also sorely missing a feature to add a word to study in advance, i.e. a word you want to stay studying now, instead of waiting months until it finally comes up in the arbitrary order they programmed. Come on, fix these two issues otherwise no way I'll pay this much money again. Fix these issues soon and I will enroll my two kids on iPads.

No complaints here. Best way to study on the go

This app is mainly for learning words, not grammar, though you pick it up along the way thanks to its example sentences. So much better and more engaging than flashcards or plain SRS. Love the BrainSpeed! I guess it's a little different now, but still good.

The recent update has stability issues. It crashes constantly and is basically unusable. I recommend that you don't upgrade until the bugs are fixed. Cerego , please fix the bugs ASAP.

Simple and functional, this app performs wonderfully.
