in.touch 2 edition

It works some days but not on others. I want to be able to heat spa during the afternoon to take advantage of my solar. I have contacted Gecko and the response was obviously written by some tech nerd.

It only works from connected to the same Wi-Fi that the spa is connected to. I got it so I could start heating spa when I was not at home but can’t seem to make that work.

Was working well for a while. Now there is always a green light on. I have reset the module and reinstalled the app. Still nothing

I’ve had this 18 months now and it goes in runs where it will work for a month or so then nothing. Delete the app, reinstall, reset password and it works for a while again. Pretty ordinary in this day and age where almost everything else we have controlled by apps work correctly and reliably.

When we first installed spa it worked fine. Then all of a sudden we can’t access the spa when not on wifi network. The whole idea was being able to get up spa when on way home. But this can’t be done anymore for some rwason. When is this issue going to be fixed

Limited functionality and access to the spa outside of the home network can be sketchy at times. Also why don’t Gecko allow changes to the reminders? If I followed the generic reminders then we would be bathing in a swamp

Paid $500 for something that doesn’t fit the description...I have made contact with someone in Canada and allowed access to my account...I’ve had no real help not even sure why they wanted access when they have done nothing...Even the in.touch 2 screen on the spa isn’t performing properly. It keeps reverting back to Melbourne time even after I set it to Adelaide time. We have tried many times to get this sorted and to no satisfaction. I can get remote access on my iPhone 5 but not my iPhone 12 it’s always saying there is an error unless on wifi. Very disappointed!!

My swimspa with the in.touch 2 WiFi controller was connected to power today (yippee!). After reading comments from other reviewers, I was worried that I would not be able to control my swimspa from remote locations. I tested remote use by leaving my home and trying to control the swimspa with my phone via 4G internet. The app worked just as well for controlling the swimspa remotely as from home. I was also able to change the temperature and change schedules which another reviewer was not able to do. So, I had none of the problems experienced by the other reviewers. In my first day of use, I have found the in.touch very useful, even at home. Firstly, I have not been able to read the swimspa’s actual controller today because the actual controller’s display is too dim to see in the bright sun. Fortunately, I have been able to use the in.touch 2 instead. Secondly, with the in.touch 2, I don’t need to go outside and lift the covers to be able to read the temperature. This makes it much easier to monitor the swimspa. That said, I think the in.touch 2 hardware is overpriced for what it is (although worth it for the convenience)

Doesn’t do what I was sold. It’s meant to be able to control the spa from a remote location. It doesn’t do this

App can’t be used away from spa location — Was initially sold it so I could turn the spa on/off or alter spa temps whilst at work or at a different location .. however unable to do so and the app only runs with the home network that spa controller to
