Whilst accessing route charts is ok. The lack of accessing Manuals is a huge setback. We can no longer easily access reference material. If this cant be restored, ill be looking for an alternative provider.

Unfortunately the new update will probably mean we change navigation data providers. To start with the new version meant a 1.5gb download. For those of us at home base a long download off Jepps slow servers. For those overnighting at airports without a base no plates meant delays and cancelled flights. The manuals were atrocious before, gone are the days of being able to tell someone to look up something in ATC-700, but at least it was exportable to PDF, able to be highlighted, bookmarked and functional. With the new ten clicks to get any where and lack of PDF export it is no longer even functional. The enroute charts were bad before and as a company we had a few VCAs from the system designed by a programmer who has never seen an aeroplane. The new app takes this unsafe idea and makes it worse. Because it’s not possible to enter a cruise altitude, every crossing airspace, restricted area and frequency is wrong. We had paper charts before because it was unsafe, now the advice is turn off as many of these app features as possible because the distractions they cause with misinformation are dangerous. Expected this from a GA company writing software for VFR pilots. Jeppesen should be ashamed of themselves.

Can you please build in manuals into the app. Also a very big thing, DON'T combine a region into the manual if not needed. I don’t want the thousands of pages when I only need one country. Manuals side of things are a big let down.

I use this app every day for work. Since I upgraded to the latest version, it will crash on every start-up. The second start-up will take 3-5 minutes, then occasionally the screen will be frozen and will have to go through the whole palava again. If I switch to another app, when I come back to Jepp FD, it takes another 3-5 mins to come back on line (and that's if it hasn't crashed again!). Admittedly I am using an older iPad, but I think it poor software engineering when an upgrade performs worse, or requires new hardware.

Takes me about 20 minutes to find anything in the Australian manual because it is bundled with every other country in the area! Please separate!!

After the 14th of February update I have been unable to access half the charts and error message comes up of NO AIRPORT SELECTED after having selected a chart. Then once to try to open the index for the tab it states no charts available for this airport! For major airport like Sydney and Canberra. What THE?!?!?! App should give you the option to reload past updates or reload current update which is not available! Aviation is 24/7 and customer service lines only open on east coast mon-fri during business hours.

New update is very poor. Unable to select another airport, app freezes on last viewed. Tried restarting etc.

The new update requires IOS5, which means for those who elected to stay on IOS4 won't be able to update in the future. A bit disappointing.

Incredibly convenient to have everything at hand. Something's to look at for the next update though: As was said before, the ability to overlay your own notes (a sticky note set up would be perfect) To have the DME/GPS distance markings on the control step boundaries Radio boundaries and frequencies would also be nice. These are minor points, and don't stop it being a very good aviation tool

Good app. Would like to see the following in future updates: -Ability to notarise approach charts. (I like to scribble on my paper charts. target altitudes etc). -Save flight plans -Tap features on charts to add to flight plan. Ozrunways has a heap of good ideas.
