The app is down more than it is available

Heaven help the person who has retired and wants to start taking withdrawls from their account. The website takes you in circles as you answer their questions, and then ends up being no help.

Computers are not my thing. I had forgotten both my username and password. However, Sarah was so patient with me and understanding she put me at ease. All businesses should operate as smoothly as John Hancock. Respectfully Mary Miller

Can’t easily see historical/YTD contributions and app doesn’t load a lot of the time when trying to log in.

It’s ok when it works, but a lot of time the app crashes or just won’t open. I just get a white screen with a spinning circle.

The retirement portfolio doesn’t show the investment losses/gains for the account. For an investment portfolio, it is extremely important for the user to understand how much his money has gained or lost over the time period. The portfolio only shows employee and employer contribution. The rate of return has to be calculated manually which is quite cumbersome.

This app / my experience is the most user “unfriendly” EVER…..

Seems to be useless you can only view certain parts of my account. Can only make certain changes can’t request loans. This app is pretty much useless.

Repeated attempts to get facial recognition to no avail.

Half the time I use John Hancock, it isn’t working. It’s either “under maintenance”, “heavy traffic volume” or just doesn’t load at all. How a company like this operates just boggles my mind. 🤯
