They can be used together with Full Catastrophe Living: Using the Wisdom of Your Body and Mind to Face Stress, Pain, and Illness (revised, 2013). These series include for example:

Sitting Meditation
The second series focuses on mindfulness in everyday life. These meditations go well together with Jon’s book, Wherever You Go, There You Are: Mindfulness Meditation in Everyday Life. These series include, for example:
Short, medium and long duration sitting meditation
Lying down meditation practice
The third series, Healing Yourself and the World, provides an opportunity to go deeper into the meditation practice. These meditations go with the book, Coming to Our Senses: Healing Ourselves and the World Through Mindfulness (2005). It offers guided meditations on:
- Body scan
- Breath work
- Meditations on choiceless awareness
- Meditations on loving-kindness

More about Jon
Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD is internationally known for his work as a scientist, writer, and meditation teacher engaged in bringing mindfulness into the mainstream of medicine and society. He is Professor of Medicine emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where he founded its world-renowned Stress Reduction Clinic in 1979, and the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society (in 1995) Jon is the author of fourteen books published in over 45 languages, including:

v2.31 app update (“minor fix”?!): more like, “MAJOR failure added” - launches with white screen. Where’s the quality assurance before release? Not even a simple regression test suite? Or how about - just open the app and try it? Why am I paying a subscription fee for an app that’s not there when I need it?!

I love the app and all it has to offer. I recently purchased it! I bought a new iPhone 15 pro max and it’s not working on here. It crashes out and won’t let me restore my purchase

Please keep the bells in the audio guided meditations. App extremely helpful.

I found this app helpful and irreplaceable for me. Please keep the bells in the guided meditations and adding more meditations when you can as you have done with adding the ones for beginners and pain relief. I found the yoga and body scan very helpful. MBSR helps me manage severe anxiety without medication. I do the 45 minute versions once a week and have so for 7 years.

I tried this app as an accompaniment to his book, Full Catastrophe Living. I did not find it to be the accompaniment I hoped for (just not as inclusive). I feel meditations from Insight Timer are just as good and free. I also found the staff supporting the app to be not very helpful. Very challenging to actually cancel my subscription to the app. Would not recommend this app.

The UX for this process and the lack of support of Safari keychain earns this app - about stress reduction - a wholly and fully deserved ONE star! Furthermore, pressing the REDEEM button yields a blank white screen requiring the app to be force-closed. There is also no capability to Write mindfulness data into the Apple Fitness app. Also, sessions do not have a “done” status after completing, rather only a “downloaded” checkmark (I got a check mark for only listening to the first several seconds in episode 1.2 and then no completion, check mark or download checkmark whatever it is for the 1.3 episode). Also, the Now Playing card that shows on the iOS Lock Screen for audio playback controls only shows skip /fast forward but not the typical control skip forward 10 skip backwards 10 etc).

Not able to use Silence with Bells

I appreciate this app and all its meditations. My only complaint is on my iphone I am unable to use the Silence with Bells part of the app. It won't let me set a time and start the session.

Good resource but very clunky playback

This is a nice centralized source for Jon’s medications. However, the playback interface needs a lot of work. Tracks play under the wrong name, don’t skip properly, etc. please fix!

I opened the app this evening to do a 20 minute meditation and there was just a white screen. The app has in effect disappeared. What happened?
