This APP has everything a Land Navigator needs. Compass, GPS positioning , Maps - both Satellite overlay and Topographic, Target marking/labeling, Distance measurement… This APP is the equalizer for everyone. I’m a Marine (former active duty), trained the old fashioned way with a map and compass. This tool saves me Time! No more figuring out pace counts, no more shooting back azimuths to triangulate my position. I ask the APP to tell me where I am, tell the APP where I want to go and I’m off. PERFECT for anyone new to the outdoors and wants to jump in with both feet quickly. I’ve personally interacted with the Developer, Gerry Shaw. He’s got some big improvements coming, which he gave me a peak at and they’re game changers. He stands behind his product and won’t let you down. So stop comparing other land navigation apps and buy this one. Always know where you are and where your going!

This app is amazing! So much functionality and easy to use. It is exactly what I needed for my backwoods adventures.

I used this app when I hiked in the Dolomites. The 3D map was a lifesaver. I have a hard time translating 2D maps into real world navigation. For each segment of the hike, I dropped waypoints in Land Nav that corresponded to points in my paper map/guidebook, together the two tools gave me and my friends a lot of confidence throughout our travels… And we didn’t get lost!

I’m kind of a newbie with these types of things so really appreciate the basic features and ease of use in the backcountry. Yesterday I was hiking on a mountain off trail and found a trail that I didn’t know existed by using Land Nav. I’ll use it also for some of my field work, which involves entering coordinates and marking locations.

Super well thought out. I love this app and can’t say enough good things about it. Buy it.

As a senior it’s so supportive to find my way around without being confined to the usual linear maps available. Thank you.
