I can’t connect to my led lights, as soon as I log in it kicks me out the app, I’ve been trying for ages and I have just given up on it
I bought some Lenovo LED strip lights which required a Lenovo Link Pro account. Everything worked fine until I set up other smart lights (different brand) who’s underlying software seems to be the same as Lenovo Link. Since then, accounts across the 2 apps have been clashing. You update the Lenovo apps password, then the other app password doesn’t work. You update that apps password, then Lenovo Link password doesn’t work. Now I’m getting an “account disabled” message. When I say forget password, I’m able to get an email to reset the password. But when I login with a new password, it still says “account disabled”. When I try create a new account, it says “this username already exists”. So it seems like my account is in purgatory.
I had some problems with this app. The programming of automation is very tedious as you can’t batch commands to multiple devices. Instead you have to specify one instruction per light bulb per task - it takes hours. This is particularly an issue as it would sometimes log me out, then all of my automation and devices would be lost and need to be recreated after logging back in. I ended up giving up and using Google home, at least that app doesn’t delete your work, once it’s setup it works.
No update for 2 years and it doesn’t work with my iPhone 14
The app takes 5-15 second to update the camera’s REAL status and defaults to Privacy=off when opened. During this period the camera can be tapped and viewed DESPITE PRIVATE MODE. This is a severe defect and shows that “private mode” does nothing and that the camera is very much still recording and transmitting video.
This app not allow me to use my smart light anymore.
I bought basic Lenovo smart bulbs and plugs as they were cheap and I needed several, but can’t connect them to either this or the standard “link” app (when I don’t get the server is busy notice). I have other connected equipment that works fine so I guess I’ll be back with more expensive other brands in future
I wasted money on the lights and power socket. I give it a ZERO. Complete failed product
My account has been disabled and cannot log in. Is there a problem?
