Play back not work and notifications and motion detection not working

Lorex cloud it probably the worst app in the App Store. This one is a little better, it seems to load quicker and has a relatively simple layout. It would be nice if it saved the default/last view layout.

Lorex Pro is a new app & it is frustrating that the app does not include a feedback option. I’m using the app rating in the hopes that this feedback will reach the developers. The Lorex Cloud app was not a bad app except that it did not provide AI motion detection, which caused massive amounts of false alarm events caused by everything from bugs, trees blowing in the wind, rain, etc. Lorex Pro is advertising its advantage over Lorex Cloud is the ability to apply AI motion detection. The Lorex Pro AI motion detection works very well with one severe issue that negates the AI benefit. The “motion zones” are not being applied, so if you are using motion zones to stop unwanted notifications, you are out of luck. I have cameras sending unwanted notifications constantly for passing cars on the street that I have fenced out using motion zones. This issue is the single most important reason I am rating the app as a 2. This feature DOES work in the Lorex Cloud app. There are many other issues with the app that are very inefficient compared to the Lorex Cloud app: 1) it is not uncommon to have the live view not load after looking at a camera event without closing & opening the app again; 2) the inability to see a consecutive list of all events - most recent first - across all cameras; 3) events that come across as a notification, but do not show up as an event in the app; and many others. I really need this app to do a good job with notifications to remotely monitor the cameras and am hoping the developers put out updates quickly to make this usable. I will gladly change my rating if only the application of motion zones is fixed in this app.

Forcing clients to watch a splash screen with the Lorex Logo, delaying access to important security feeds is a terrible policy. Please get rid of the splash screen. We know the app is Lorex, we clicked on it, it has no ad value. The app does not remember which cameras you were looking at. You have to go in and re select cameras each time you open the app. Make these changes and I will update the rating. Neither of these issues occur in the Lorex Cloud app. The Lorex Home app now has the splash sceen that has no use or benefit while lowering usability.
