Lox Club

I downloaded this app 2 years ago and “applied to join” which requires that you send them all your contact details and some photos. It then tries to convince you to enter friends’ contact details too - I didn’t because of, you know, privacy. I just remembered about the app today. My “application” is still pending. I’m pretty sure they’re just collecting contact information and there is no actual dating app here.

You’re paying way too much money just to be able to see a limited amount of people all of whom are thousands of miles away most of the time. All I can use this app for at the moment is to see that there are no exclusive Lox club events happening near me or that are coming up at all, and maybe browse through some date destinations that they are recommending. And you can only swipe through about 8 different people every six hours or so after paying $50 for nothing. If you don’t have the funds to waste money on this like me, you’re better off using Hinge where you can see an unlimited amount of people for free.

Besides the lack of capabilities, this app makes you buy into multiple months and provides little to no actual dating options. Whenever I look I am swiping on every time. The ones that I did match with never answered and I reached out on DM and they said they canceled their membership months ago.

Extremely disappointed - feels like a cash grab / scam. Went to the trouble to make an account and pay for subscription and seems like every user is not active….? It seems surprising to have 0 engagement.

Complete scam.

It’s the opposite of Nike… just don’t do it! Listen to the reviews, it’s a total waste of money

Unless you live in NYC, this app is effectively useless as the only people I’ll see come through my feed live in NYC. As someone who lives in Chicago and has no need to travel to NYC, I’m effectively paying money to use a dating app that matches me with people hundreds of miles away. Totally waste of money

Don’t waste your time. There are no ppl on it and even if you change your age range you get maybe one more if that. You can’t see who likes you and the napkin thing is ridiculous. Badly designed and badly executed. Forced to pay just to see anyone. So stupid. I want my money back

Classy design, minimal complexities, and an interesting user base are the pro’s. Those outside of major cities may not have Lox events nearby or many users.

This app is genuine and they are really trying to match people. Unlike all the other dating apps out there now which are mostly bots and fake profiles, Lox Club has an authentic approach.
