The Mable app is full of glitches. You have to login every time you open it (when you can actually get in!) More often than not when you try to open it, it doesn’t load. So you have to repeatedly uninstall, then reinstall. Mable are aware of these issues, they have been happening for quite a long time now. All you get from them is a generic response. Mable’s IT team are an absolute joke. Do not recommend this app at all
Not user friendly
Have to log in every time I open the app. Doesn’t have ability to use Face ID. Once logged in , the inbox and support hours don’t load so have to close app and re-open every time! It’s clunky and this is since the most recent update. Please fix it.
Terrible app
Yet again I’ve had to delete it because it keeps not working and I’m not the only one. Always glitching as well. Very unreliable.
Keeps logging out
This app is so annoying and logs out everyday. I’ve given up using it.
Not Quite User Friendly
I love the app for what it is - a connecting bridge between workers and participants, but I believe both the app and the website shouldn’t be as inconvenient as it is now to navigate. Like what many reviewers mentioned, there are some UI/UX features that aren’t very end-user friendly - coming from me as a common person who has little to no tech-savviness, I currently find some aspects the app and website quite annoying. Ever since the last update was made on the app, it made it even worse :/
Huge income potential for Mable lost due to long running APP issues.
Ever since I started with Mable many years ago, phone calls and messages from myself and countless other participants get ignored. We all offer feedback as to APP issues and potential fixes, all these issues would result in Mable making more money but issues are still ignored.
Participants and workers use the app on their phone 95% of the time but ongoing issues are ignored = money lost
When using the app on their phone participants cannot reach Mable, no chat, message, email, phone support when using app on the phone. This should be a priority Duty of Care for Mable.
If we are abused, hurt by, stolen from or harassed by Mable applicants for positions there is nothing we can do via the app. You have to exit, google their number and hope you get through. Not good enough since we pay so much to use their platform.
The 5 lucky button smashers who you are lucky enough to get to reply to a last minute job is horrendous and looses Mable so much money it’s ridiculous, why Mable doesn’t listen to us and change this is a wonder. The app allows the 1st five applicants ONLY to choose from. Problem is when those who apply are not qualified for your needs, eg no first aide. Male when female only is needed. Then applicants can cancel because they get other work after being given the last minute job by you, so you are left without support. This App is a lifeline to people w a disability and it really needs a huge overhaul to keep us safe. Please please Mable fix this App and use PWD as trials to ensure its features work for those it’s supposed to help, and you make Money from. Potential of app is huge but it’s only half working for us all.
Not great app
The app doesn’t show invoices or receipts like Hire Up, which makes it hard to track payments. It wouldn’t matter if Mable still sent invoices to my email but they don’t, and when you do pay they don’t send you the receipts either, so it’s easy to forget. When you have a thousand things to track already as self managed, Mable app makes it harder not better
App is not user friendly
Mable itself is great, but the app is not user friendly and has put me off from using the platform. Logging in, you have to type in your details every time (compared to Hireup where it’s instant). I often receive emails and then they open in the browser & not the app and then I have to log in & then the job ad or inbox is an extra step to find because it’s been lost in all the steps to get access.
I find the whole process exhausting & amongst other support workers in my community, there’s a general consensus that the app is not user friendly/ inefficient.
A little glitchy
App ok but sometimes doesn’t load messages or jobs even after searching. Besides that it works fine so far. Thank you
Must login every time
Have to login every time, doesn’t save details or use Face ID . Also Mabel are very slow in paying.
