Welcome to the International English edition Magnificat App, which contains readings, texts and calendar appropriate for English-speaking countries using the Jerusalem Bible Lectionary*.

It is presented a day-by-day format including:
MASS - daily Mass prayers and Scripture readings
PRAYERS - daily prayers for morning, evening, and night inspired by the Liturgy of the Hours
MEDITATIONS - spiritual reflections for each day
ESSAYS - on the lives of the saints from yesterday and today

Reminders, audio hymns, and other features have been added for your prayer life.

Subscribers to the paper edition have complimentary access (need registration for access). Otherwise, it is free from the day you install the App until the end of the month; then you can subscribe online or buy each month through the App store. Crashes

This app keeps crashing on my wife’s iPhone 13 Max

Support to the habit of regular prayer

I have been using this App for 6 months now and I find it very helpful for developing and sustaining a ‘do-able’ prayer life. I’m not a Roman Catholic -yet it all works very well for my private devotions. I will be renewing my subscription which is extremely affordable.

Great when it works

Great when it works, but too often shows an error message upon opening or when trying to download, and frequently shows a blank screen when clicking on mass readings etc. Very frustrating!

Used to be good

App isn’t working on the iPhone at the moment. Isn’t showing the words for Mass or prayers. Badly needs as update

Downloads very erratic

This month’s edition can’t be downloaded on any of my devices. It is very frustrating as it should be a straightforward process. This happens on a regular basis unfortunately.

I have so much trouble downloading the UK edition of the Magnificat each month. iPad is fine, but it will not fully download on my iPhone which is not acceptable. Unfortunately I’m subscribed until January 20022. Thankfully I can use the American version of it, but don’t see why I should have to. Please rectify this mistake ASAP.

Very good app

If you do not have time to pray the full Divine Offices then this is the app for you. Short and sweet
