Ok but LOTS of bugs!

The actual game is fine but the software is not good… it logs you out if you don’t have internet even if you have 3 bars it still doesn’t work.

Just a shame

The shame of Marvel Snap is that hidden behind ‘scam level’ monetization, an infuriating card acquisition system, unlawfully bad customer service and events that require enormous amounts of time for rewards … you can see the bones of a card game battler that could develop into something fun if every other aspect of the game didn’t ruin it.

I’ve been a player for over two years. I’m rating you one start because you continue to ignore my ongoing feedback to mute other players. Just do it! I’m trying to play a fun card game not feed others egos and negative personality traits! I leave games where I lose feeling HORRIBLE because people spam ahole emojis! Is that how you want your player base to feel? Do you want a toxic community? Fix it! It’s simple!

What’s going on

Had this game awhile, loved as a daily game. One I’ve passed 100 and gone infinity continuously comes up with searching for opponent. Waited 5 plus minutes plus and still nothing

Faulty

I had been playing for a week or two, making pretty good progress when it says updates are available. I update it and suddenly it won’t work. I look for answers and discover that this happens with almost every update. I follow all the advice I can find and nothing works. Finally using some wifi it opens but I have to sign in again All my progress is gone. I leave the wifi and play the introductory game again. Afterwards I’m locked out again.

Fun initially until …

The core gameplay is well designed and with each location is different every game so you have to adapt. Turns are played simultaneously so feels streamlined. Initially you build your collection with various characters from the Marvel universe and easily enjoyed for free. After about 3 month that all stops and you have all the series 3 cards. New release cards are locked behind the season pass and they are often released overpowered to encourage purchasing them. This one of the signs of Pay to Win. Then the method to acquire newer cards is horribly designed. You will never have all the cards if you are a new player. And if you stop playing for a while, forget about coming back as the gap to acquiring cards just keeps getting bigger. I have been playing for a year and still do not have cards that were released when I started. That should tell you how outrageous acquiring cards are. This unfortunately overshadows what would be a gorgeous game with beautifully drawn art. It is still a good game but don’t expect your collection to grow after the first few months.
