Love my Gravity 900 but the app needs a lot of work. The graph display is pretty much useless as it doesn’t reset when a new session is started and often shows months-old data. Sometimes it just shows “data not available”. Temp display often doesn’t refresh unless you return to the homepage and reselect the smoker. These problems have existed for months. Is anyone working on any fixes? Latest update is worse. Mostly blank displays and continuously spinning wheels. One page show the temp but no graph, and I get alerts so I know it’s communicating with the smoker, but the UI is unusable.

The app is constantly crashing or not connecting to the website

I love the smoker, and when the app works it’s a solid 5 stars. However, it simply does not work all the time. For example, today I’m 8 hours into a planned 10 hour cook and everything in the app just stops. Connection lost and I can’t re-establish with any of the troubleshooting tips. I’ve done everything except delete and reinstall (which I’ve done probably 3 times since my purchase). I’d really rather not do that again and loose my previous cooking data. The frustration level is now easily 9/10.

2nd Update: App rarely connects. Please enable Bluetooth ONLY option. Update: recent app update is much better than previous version. Actually stays connected to smoker! Thank you dev team! Old:App never stays connected. New update still doesn’t help. Good thing the smoker is great.

Having the app is a very useful tool and I like using it. However it is buggy and does not always keep up with the current temperature and timers a lot of times I have to go out of the app and come back in so that it refreshes.

1 star until they modernize and allow biometric log in, or saved log ins, or keep me logged in. Having to log back in every hour or two and type out my entire userid and password each time is ridiculous.

My 560 works great but the app doesn’t. I smoked a ham for 4 hours and the first 2 hours the app worked but I constantly got the up to temperature critical alert. Why would I get that more than when I’m preheating? Then 2 hours in the app stopped connecting and never would reconnect. Terrible app.

Constantly experiencing connection issues with the app, it says it will connect but then 80% of the features won’t work.

App worked fine the first couple of times I used it but now it is non-functional. I can see the temp on one of the probes, but cannot set temps. Cannot control temp of the smoker and cannot power it on/off. Tried removing and re-pairing but no change. Judging by the other recent reviews here, I am not alone. Back to using my Tappecue until this is fixed. To anyone looking for a ‘smart’ smoker, I cannot recommend the Masterbuilt until they get their software sorted.

I have issues trying to connect EVERY TIME I TRY IT. Now, I am completely out and cannot connect.
