Turn your iPhone or iPad into an outdoor GPS or marine chart plotter, with the detailed Topo maps or NOAA marine charts needed for your activity. Maps are stored on the device for offline use, when you don't have any network connection. The GPS will show your location even where you have no mobile phone signal.
The app can be used standalone, but the maps and overlay data may also be used on your home PC or Mac for planning, and for printing maps on paper. Then upload everything to your phone or tablet and enjoy navigating outdoors with high quality maps.

Very useful application
It's a very useful app, I used it during my walks in Scotland and North England. The only thing I miss is an extension for the Apple Watch, are you developing this or is this possible to develop?
Way to much and not backing old customers
I have old maps bought in the past the were on my iPad now I have to buy an import tool to use these as this was not in previous versions. Don't buy this app or maps for this app better buy Navionics much cheaper and better support then this company does give you. I was customer for 11 years now not any more. Thanks for helping out your early adapters memory map.
Additional costs
Program itself is pretty much useless unless you purchase maps. What is not mentioned: if you want to have any kind of maps (even your own), you have to pay extra. Program information does not mention this. Very misleading!
Memory Map
Memory Map is the best navigation tool by far. It could beat Garmin easily.....if more countries were available. Come om Memory Map: Germany, Alps, Norway

Deze applicatie werkt uitstekend op de iPhone net zoals indertijd op de Ipaq. Jammer alleen dat ze geen topografische kaarten van Nederland hebben voor de Iphone. Of ik heb het over het hoofd gezien...
Outdoor GPS
Werkt goed en de kadasterkaart (1:25000) van Nederland is goed maar niet aktueel. Het grootste gemis voor mij is een roterende kaart. (in je looprichting) Erg handig voor hondenwandelingen. En met een (spat)waterdichte behuizing als de Otterbox Defender case kan bijna niks gebeuren.
Wipes maps
It wipes maps on apple, I lost a map that’s worth close to £100, it just disappeared as I was using it. The person who makes the map in question updates them regularly so you have to buy the map again, there’s no way to reinstate it as it wipes it off the app

Outstanding quality.
The ability to have a mobile copy of my 1:25000 maps in my pocket is fantastic. I plan trips on the big paper maps, old fashioned I know but old habits die hard! I transfer all my waypoints to my digital map and head off knowing I have a dependable accurate map to guide me. I love paper maps and have hundreds of them but nothing can touch memory map for portable convenience.
