Molekule Air Purifier

So bad app for $800 device???

Purchased first generation Molekule Air purifier after such positive reviews. Unfortunately, it has never been able to connect to the app despite following Molekule recommendations. Continues to be an expensive disappointment and reminder that being a quasi-Luddite sometimes has its advantages.

Doesn’t connect to wifi and never have been able to use it through phone

I have a few of these and the app is practically useless in staying connected- filter cabinet open is a constant error and requires full delete and re adding of machine

App does not connect to the device. Very frustrating for such a pricy gadget.

For the amount of money they make from the devices, I’m perplexed as to why they’ve not invested in a better app. Poor UX + very buggy. Do better!

Nothing is more embarrassing than this app. 100% does not work. Once you open it, the app immediately crashes. My phone is up to date and so is the app, yet it’s completely unusable. It will not even update to the latest firmware to take advantage of all the new features we paid for in the new Air Pro. I’M SO MAD. Their tech support teams are also useless and there is no fix for any of this. They should be fired. I would give it 0 out of 5 stars if that was possible.

Umm never once came across a app that cannot connect. Given the price, it needs to give more attention. What a hassle. Customer service doesn't seem to know how to troubleshoot.

Same error as many. The app cannot connect to WiFi and support has no clue what to do to fix. A shame considering the price of those devices…

I have paired this with three units. Each time I just kept trying. It failed to connect and I tried again. Somewhere between the third and fifth try clicking join the Molekule network it works, although I usually have to reset the Molekule settings per instructions once. Have your wifi password ready as it needs that. A little sketchy. Also, it seems to open up my wallet app which also seems sketchy. Fact is, the filter seems to work for me, otherwise I would be pretty upset. So that’s the bad news. Good news is that the app looks great and works well. Only thing is that ‘standby’ aka ‘off’ is tucked away on a separate page from the main controls which is too bad because sometimes at night you just want fan noise, no matter how quiet, off! No reason the off switch couldn’t be right there with the fan speed selection. Except maybe to make sure the filter gets used up so you buy a new one. Unbelievably, despite everything above, I still recommend this thing, because it has been so good for my health!
