The game seems impossible at the beginning. Yet, learning timing and combos to finally conquer levels is rewarding. We enough gear you’ll be able to beat almost all enemies with relative ease. However, on NG+++ some fights are just plainly impossible. For example, how to fight lightning enchantment aura or dual attack + king’s wrath? Also, it would be nice if it is possible to turn off some artifacts before run. Some of them are super strong and some are weak, even within the same tier.

But once you get used to it and start finding items, it becomes easier. Perhaps the easiest difficulty needs to be more forgiving for people who are more casual. I played this for many hours on a plane and would do again.

Great game, and I love the concept. Although there are complaints about the parry interval, but I find it very well balanced. Just get good😂 The items part comes in after 10 or so games. Very good rhythm game, and amazing pixelated graphics. Great game to play. I’ve introduced it to my friend and he has played it for more that 5 hours in the weekend.

The time period for you do a parry is way too fast and even on the easier difficulty, the time period is still way too fast. The enemies light up to alert you so you can parry but the you have less than a second to parry, if you miss it, you get hit. Not only that but even after I parry the first attack, the next attack will always hit. No mater how many times I have tried to block or even parry again, this stupid game just won’t let me. It’s either block and lose momentum or parry to gain momentum but always lose health. This is why I find this parrying mechanic so annoying and frustrating to deal with, the game allows you to parry but if the game is this unfair then the whole point of having a parrying function is completely useless. You add new items and relics butyou don’t change anything else about the unfair combat, I find the game trash and way too difficult.

Such a good game. Love the concept and gameplay. I hope you are still updating it.

Gameplay is very fun and ads aren’t intrusive! There is one glitch I’ve noticed, after selecting where a new card should go in battle, if you tap on another spot it’ll move to the slot you tap on and overlap the card that’s already there. However, this doesn’t effect the gameplay at all so it’s not critical. The only thing that’s keeping me from giving this amazing app a 5 star review is the lack of character customization. It would be really nice to be able to have a few options for how your character looks. Last suggestion would be qol for ipad, it would be very nice if the aspect ratio wasn’t fixed. This could be done through either by just scaling the background, or having some different background border art like how it’s done in btd6. It would also be nice if you could use space on an ipad keyboard as a tap for combat, as in space would be the same as tapping the screen for parries. This last detail isn’t too important as the player would assumingely still have to use the trackpad for card selection (unless you added number key support for card selection) so it wouldn't change too much anyhow. All things consider this is an amazing game and I’d love to give it 5 stars if we could see some character options. Great job on the game!

They made the mechanics WAY to hard. Tapping to parry is almost impossible when every enemy has a new move set and the momentum system refill is awful. If I could rate 0 stars I would.
