Muse — canvas for ideas

I love this app and use it every day for recording progress with my hobby - bonsai. I started with the free version, which gave me everything I needed to start. If you don’t love the app, or have limited need, no need to subscribe to the full version. The lite version is great too! Now, I keep all my bonsai progress in one place, with photos and scribbles (with the iPad pencil or in text format). I can easily move boards, link them, or export them for sending or filing elsewhere. Updates to the app have never stopped me from using it for more than 10 seconds, and the one time I did have a problem, the support team were responsive and helpful and I was notified when the issue was resolved. Seriously, if you are looking for a white-boarding or scrapbooking app, try Muse!

FINALLY an app which operates like my brain. So many apps are made for linear thinking, but MY brain works in nodes. Littles bits here and there for different things, branching out, and the need to quickly make new groups and links. Please can you create an invite code system where people get rewarded with more free cards if they invite people. I’ll tell everyone. You’re welcome

It also allows you to write on top of photos and PDF files. Great app. I use this in addition to the Agado app.

Muse has become my go to when I’m researching or ideating. Drag in links or images, mark up when I need to, organise like I would with pieces of paper, and zoom in and out with spatial organisation that matches how my brain already works. The interface is genuinely groundbreaking in that it matches your intuition. This is the first “notes” app where I’ve genuinely revisited notes and pages regularly largely because of how the UX for navigation and the spatial organisation where everything is a zoom in or out away.

Really just a canvas based clipboard that you plot notes and other multi media objects. Similar features are free on OneNote, and I doubt Evernote users need to be bothered to try.

Not only am I thoroughly enjoying Muse App as an iPad ideation tool for my business concepts and UX designs, but the research, thinking, and work they are doing to evolve the app is great to follow along and learn from. It’s become my go-to personal ideation canvas where I can collate a range of information and content types. They’re a great example of a wholistic App & App company experience. They've even got a podcast to listen to where they explain their decisions across the UX, UI, dev and the company itself.

This is the app that I have needed for YEARS. I love the phone app as a place to brain dump, and then I spend 20 minutes at night organizing things in the desktop app. I feel like my ideas are not dying in my notes app, and are there to easily access and easily reinvigorate a project. I'm loving it so far. My only (very mild) complaint is that the text items are a little hard to move around, and I with there was a way to "snap to grid" when you have some items selected to get them lined up in a nice way. Overall, I love it!

So easy to use and works perfectly. Love the redesign.

Super frustrating if you accidentally swipe a card to the right and off the screen. It disappears forever and you need to start over!

I love muse for organizing notes, research, and thoughts on projects - it makes a fun and easy to use way of really engaging with documents and products. I’ve used it to replace all of my reading collection tools and get much more out of keeping things I want to learn organized with notes, snippets, videos, and whatever I want to add.
