My CUPRA App

The app crashes regularly requiring a complete new log in. The car is regularly off line when sat on the drive on my home network. Changing the % charge you want on the app rarely makes it to the car. Air con remote rarely works on 5G. Any other features are minimal. And before you copy and paste your standard reply that your working on it, looking back at reviews you've been saying that for years. How about an honest update on when these issues will be fixed rather than platitudes?

Ever since I’ve had my car the connection with the App has been a bit hit and miss. Now seems to have failed completely. Have tried all the obvious fixes to no avai. So disappointing.

Regularly logged out And have to find details as nothing is saved 🤬

Vehicle, Lights & Engine Status doesn’t work. Every now and then it’ll show up as unavailable and one instance when I was in the car it would show engine was on and unlocked. However, since then never appears to work or show available. The app for my Audi has a ton of better features and displays relevant information regarding the locked status and enables alarm management, should it be set off.

I have downloaded this app and paid for 2 years subscription £105. It’s asking for s-pin to open and close the doors of the car. I tried to change the s-pin using forgotten s-pin link and everytime it not successful and locks my s-pin for 24hrs! So far had the app for 4 days and haven’t been able to use it. Very frustrating.

The app is good and provides useful information. Whilst it tells you you have left the car unlocked you don’t seem to be able to lock it remotely. The app is also pretty clunky and seems to take ages to load car data and for the car to receive an a/c command

Cupraconnect is more stable and has more functions. Why change?

This app is the most pointless app I’ve ever used. It does nothing but give some very basic information about the vehicle status and that’s it? The old app that’s not usable and other cars I’ve had with apps, Kia, BMW have interactive functionality such as letting you know if you left the car unlocked or a window open. All this app does is let you know how much fuel is in the tank and see your trip info Edit. I now cannot access the app. It has asked for me to sign in, I’m can’t remember my password so I follow the link to reset. Then I reset and get a message that the link is invalid but it’s the link that they sent? So the app is more useless than before as I can’t log in!

Until the recent major upgrade, this app was great and really responsive and quick. Having the separate app for Cupra charging was fine. Since they’ve integrated the two, it constantly signs me out, the map is incredibly slow and it doesn’t refresh the widget in iOS, it also doesn’t pull up to date info that quickly on the car. Really poor.

My Formentor said I need to connect to Cupra Connect. So I did. When opening the App it says I need to download My Cupra. So I did. My Cupra App is just a badge with a revolving circle and that’s it. I’m assuming it’s a faulty/buggy app and will remove and download it to try again.
