A lot of useful features especially when you own an EV are locked behind this app unless you pay the yearly subscription which is overpriced

The Porsche app is simply not good enough when it comes to setting up charging profiles for example to take advantage of off peak tariffs. The manual is woefully inadequate in its explanations and why can’t the manual and videos show RHD vehicles. Really disappointing for such an absolutely awesome car!

So, you want to be a premium brand and your app is every few days saying "server couldn't be reached". Fire the company that is doing this app for you and hire someone who know what he is doing. It's 2025 and you have server issues. Disaster!

As a phone app it is great. The watch implementation less so as more often than not, the watch app tells me I need to open the phone app first. Pointless!

Apple Watch app - great when it works. But it didn’t work unless my phone is with me. So, it’s actually utterly pointless. Surely it wood be an easy fix if Porsche could be bothered - which sadly they seem not to be.

The Apple Watch app no longer works unless it is within range of the phone, which makes it pointless - previously when I was out with just the watch and no phone I could switch the car heating on before getting back to it. From the Taycan forum I know others are now having this issue too.

About three days ago, the app stopped properly updating with the car. It keeps saying that the vehicle data has been updated, but it’s not actually in sync at all. It’s showing the vehicle location as somewhere where I was three days ago as well as the charge status and the fuel gauge being out of date. It’s no longer able to unlock or lock the car, preheat the climate control or do anything.

My Porsche app doesn’t synchronise with the car’s PCM, which leads to conflicting messages from the vehicle PCM and the app. I was advised to raise a ticket through the app, which I did, but Porsche AG and GB ignored it.

Downloaded app just to register my 964 and 997 just for it to have my details! Won’t recognise my vin numbers. Absolutely bizarre When I contacted customer support they said I must email my v5! I am already registered in the classic register so I think I just won’t bother with this! Not the usual Porsche experience Hey ho!
