App will not scan lottery tickets

Tried for months now.
App won’t trigger/allow camera to focus which makes it impossible to scan barcodes from close distances. From the other comments going back weeks sounds like the developers are in over their heads here. Updated nj lottery app, running iOS 17.1.2 on iphone 15 pro
The ticket scanner does not focus at all, almost impossible to scan a scratch ticket. iPhone 15
Since there are numerous posts about scanner issues, it would be a great feature to show the actual numbers that were scanned. I personally don’t trust this feature to work as advertised.
Hate that because the camera is so upgraded you can’t scan your tickets to see anything
Scanner on this new application is useless can’t even read a QR code from 6 feet away
I finally was able to enter tickets without issues then you updated the scanner yesterday and now it’s back to having issues with the scanner. Now it take’s awhile before the scanner registers or you have to use the phone light to enter a ticket or it doesn’t register at all.
Complete garbage. Doesn’t scan your tickets, takes forever to load. Don’t waste your time. NJ doesn’t know how to make a good app. Just go to your local store and check your stuff there.
Thought I had a scanner issue but it turned out the tickets were the issue. The barcodes weren’t printed fully. It would have been nice if the app gave an error message instead of just hanging there… One suggestion, let us reorder our “favorites.” The tickets are listed in the order you create them. Also, everyone complains about contacting support. WHY ISN’T THERE A REAL SUPPORT LINK in the app to report problems? We shouldn’t have to report issues in a review.
The auto focus on the camera to scan tickets doesn’t work on the iPhone 14 Pro and also the 3 lines at the top right of the screen doesn’t work when I click it. I have to touch below and to the right to get to the menu. Can these be fixed? Everything else is great!
