North One - Business Banking

I have never been lied to as much as this so called ‘bank’ has. Worked fine depositing business checks, until it stopped one day. I had over 15k in checks to deposit, and I was working out of town! They strung me along for 3 months, telling me sometime this week, knowing they would never have that service ever again. What a terrible experience!

Went with NorthOne to start my small business banking. My second month was hard so I canceled the account and pulled my money out to prevent overdraft. (Which was 10$). Over the last few months they’ve been racking up 10$ monthly fees and not notifying me; apparently I never cancelled and I of course have no proof. They would not dismiss the fees, despite there being absolutely no activity on the account. I wanted to return to try them again, but they don’t seem very small business friendly as they are taking 40$ from my deposit that I added to start using it again. Nice. Definitely didn’t need that money, NorthOne. I wanted to try again, yet my unused account is worth more than my continued business to them. Never again. Cancel via chat and document it. Wish it would’ve gone differently or that they didn’t bill you for absolutely no reason if you don’t put money into it or use it. :(

Normally I hate to leave a review however this has forced my hand because for NorthOne not to support apps such as Cash App, Venmo, Zelle etc is truly a travesty. Waiting an additional 1-3 business days to pay my contractors don’t sit well with me. It my be a great app however this shames the whole thing.

I’ve deposited 2 checks into my new business checking account. It was than locked for my security. They gave an email address to inquire as to why. 24 hours and 3 emails later I have no response and no access to my account. I won’t be moving my banking business to a bank that randomly blocks access and won’t respond.

This bank is a sham, with limited services and terrible customer service. If you have a business, try another bank.

Trust this bank excuse me this online tech company if you want ask me how I know. For one they will steal your stripe instant deposits and say they never received it. Then once you send proof they blame Mastercard. Using your card at a restaurant they authorize an additional 20% on top of ya bill. YOU CANNOT call this “bank” you have to Schedule a time for there 3 employees to call you. This isn’t a bank for established business but new ones and I would suggest going to a traditional bank. They charge you a monthly fee but NONE of the things they offer do they actually offer. EVERYTHING IS COMING SOON. the online chat is a joke it’s someone who basically tells you they can’t do or don’t know and will get back to you. We use this bank as a catch all account (deposit funds) and immediately transfer them. ***** In response to lies you sent. Your company definitely up charges on ALL restaurants charges. Y’all are quick to blame them however we take out clients to the same places. And your fake card is the only on that does that and in 3 days max or changes to what the actual amount was. Please stop lying. As always I send screen shoots to your 3 person online chat team. This “bank” is so quick to blame someone else without researching and providing correct answers. And I’ve already reached out, your team sends updates telling me their still working on it. Whatever the reason you offer only outbound calls is unacceptable for a company trying to run a business. And again please stop lying it’s never any same day calls available. And again please stop the lies. Your app has a list of things your company doesn’t offer it says coming soon. Then finally y’all got same day ach but now it’s an additional fee for that.
