Compatibility: The Nucleus Smart App is compatible with the Cochlear Nucleus 7 Sound Processor. It is verified on iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 15 or later. For more detailed device compatibility see the Nucleus Smart App support page.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. The Nucleus Smart App only uses your GPS when it detects your Nucleus 7 Sound Processor has been lost or turned off, and does not constantly track your location.

All I want is to have instant access to ForwardFocus via N7 button since there’s times when needing ForwardFocus & not able to have the device with SmartApp with you.
ForwardFocus is super awesome after only using it twice.
Please create processor firmware update so ForwardFocus can be instantly accessed via processor button.
The app keeps on verifying the processor after recent update
I am not sure what the recent update improved. The changelog doesn’t say anything. One irritating issue is that the app verifies the processor about 5 to 10 times a day.
Updated on 14 Oct 2018:
Recent updates of the app have sorted out the processor verification annoyance. The program is very useful now. I use the phoneclip to stream music with the microphones off. When someone starts talking with me, I turn the phone clip off. However, it takes at least 30 seconds before the phoneclip is released and then the microphones becomes active. There should be some button in the app to make this happen immediately.
Nucleus 7
Great app for single or bilateral processors. Very happy with it. Would like to be able to allocate separate numbers to each rechargeable battery (e.g. L1; L2 etc. R1; R2 etc.). It should not restrict the use to left or right only but warn one of the intended side and the correct rotation of the batteries. Then see stats on the use of those batteries. This would help manage the life span of the battery. I do all this manually and have allocated numbers to my batteries. I record each use duration and recharge. Wish Cochlear would make a battery box to hold six batteries and showing order of use. Fully charged batteries to be placed north south and flat batteries, until recharged, south north. Keep up the good work Cochlear.
