This app is completely useless. The photographing system simply does not work however hard you try. Gave up. Try the website.

Rarely bother to write reviews but felt compelled to do so. No word of a lie, the Indonesian visa application process was easier than using this app. Awful. Don’t waste your time getting frustrated with it, just use the website. More steps to follow but it doesn’t freeze, is formatted correctly, and if you are applying with young children you can upload a photo rather than having to take one live.

Was worried after reading the reviews but upon downloading the app all you need to do is scan your passport and then take a picture of yourself. Once you’ve done this you answer a few simple questions and make your payment. Within 5 minutes my NZeTA had been issued. Super easy process with absolutely no problems at all.

Lousy App . Can’t renew an existing eta , can’t add another traveller . No advice . It exhibits a lazy don’t care it’s your problem attitude on the part of the NZ immigration authority which is the absolute opposite of everyone else in NZ .

Most travellers probably have the photos already on their desktop ie for Australia. Found it impossible to photograph passport or self. Could not even understand instructions. Bad idea!

I challenge anyone to take a photo with no shadows unless you are in a professional studio. This app is not fit for purpose!

I’ve just paid £56.30 for my NzeTA it should be £7.91 how do I get a refund?

Had three people to apply for visas for a family trip. First person competed their application fine, but was unable to add any more people on that device due to a t&c’s accept button being missing on an iPhone 14, so had to use another device. Second person on iPad Mini was able to apply no problem, and was able to start application for the last person. Third person was able to scan passport, but trying to scan their face was impossible. Was instant for first two people. Tried on multiple other iOS devices in the exact same scenarios, lighting and positions but couldn’t get it to work. Third person was forced to apply using the website which costs slightly more.

We used the app without any problems - camera a bit difficult to position but worked in the end. Submitted and paid without any issue. The main issue is the app is showing both applications as pending. But we got emails saying they had been issued. Checked status on the website and confirmed the had been issued. So it appears the app records have not been updated. We are taking the email confirmations with us just in case. Hope this helps

Like bro I tried so many way to scan my freaking passport and still not working ???? And it said it’s too dark even though 🙄I turned on all the light in my house . Seriously this app needs to be removed and recreated.
