Octopath Traveler: COTC is a fantastic mobile JRPG that perfectly captures the nostalgia of classic role-playing games from my childhood. With its engaging storylines, stunning graphics, and strategic combat system, it offers a deep and satisfying experience. The game brilliantly balances nostalgia with modern gameplay elements, making it a must-play for any JRPG fan.

I’ve been quite taken aback by this game as I really didn’t expect it to be such a joyful experience. I normally don’t play many 2D games but after this one, I sit here contemplating as to why I don’t play them more! This game in itself is the perfect combination of 2D and 3D graphics mixed together to create a whirlwind of an experience that is also an absolute eye candy for any gamer! BUT the thing that I am the most compelled by is the wonderfully executed and interesting story that this game has, In RPGs, I myself am usually more of an explorer than someone who shows much interest in the main story, but this game keeps making me wanting to know what happens next and where the story will lead me as the chapters keep on progressing, it’s gotten to a point where I’ve literally landed in a battle with my own self where I can’t get myself to understand whether I want to stroll around or remain on the straight path! Now talking about the gameplay mechanics, I can truly say that this game has the one of the best out there, It has such a simple yet effective approach to turn based action where the game really makes you think hard on what to do next yet also keeping you far from being anywhere near boredom! And trust me as has someone who often get’s bored in seconds, I can truly say that I have enjoyed every minute of the thinking and taking my sweet time while in action! And what makes the gameplay just that much more cohesive are the characters and the lengths that the creators have gone through into fleshing them out and make their backstory a treat of it’s own! All in all, I really recommend giving this game a try and I hope that you all will enjoy this as much as I did! A BIG Salute AND Thanks to the creators for making such a glorious masterpiece, I hope this game and it’s fandom keeps on growing and get’s the recognition that it’s very much well deserved of!

Fun game to play with a good story. The voice acting how ever is terrible. That’s the only downside to it.

This game is such a gift. So hard to find something on the App Store that is entertaining, nostalgic AND free!!!!! Big thanks to the developers for all the awesome detail and story. I recommend this game to ANYONE who grew up playing turn-based RPGs. Such a gem… I play this every single chance I get (except while driving) 😜

Controller support

After I had accidentally deleted this game I tried many things to get my original data back I tried to sign in to the Squat Enix membership and used my Apple ID but says it’s failed so I deleted the app 3 times in hopes of fixing it and getting my original account back. Nothing works and now my year of hard grinding and work has been there for nothing I thought I putted my Apple ID so it can be transferred so I thought the last thing to do is to delete my account and try again yet it doesn’t work I’m so disappointed and upset right now that they haven’t done this sooner now I don’t know what else to do to get my account back if anyone is reading this make sure you double check that you have your data backed up if you accidentally delete this game. I still love this game but it doesn’t mean I’m going to start over with my new account and I still yet to figure out to get my original account back.

I was deeply moved by the first chapter of the wealth story, particularly the part where she expressed that gold and diamonds were her only friends. This line truly resonated with me, evoking a profound sense of her loneliness. “ The sad truth of wealth is that it often builds walls instead of bridges, isolating hearts rather than uniting them.”

The game is incredible but it has a big problem that it is only in English, it does not have other preferred languages ​​and that in the synematics the screen is not complete.

Definitely worth playing very smooth game with a not ftp friendly gatcha but till playable if you know what your doing which makes the game a 5 star because it’s free which isn’t easy considering the affect of strategy that’s in this game was all typed out for free it’s an awesome game story is great so far too which I love cus it’s FREE!

I downloaded this game thinking that it was like the original game but it’s kind of cool it isn’t but what is going on with the translation? I’m not Japanese this destroys the whole essence. How do I change this to English in 2024
