I downloaded this app a couple years ago and found it to be helpful (also fun to swipe through each transaction). The app stopped connecting to my bank account so I uninstalled it for a bit. I tried to login to my old account and it forced me to make a new one, and then immediately agree pay $6.99 after 3 days for free. So I do that, right? … and I still can’t log into my bank! You can assume I unsubscribed shortly after. This app is not Canadian friendly :(

I downloaded this app 9 months ago and it was brilliant, recently tho they updated it so that you cant continue using it or delete your account unless you pay.

No free trial without signing up for an auto-renewing subscription. Since I know nothing about this app, and I had to give it my email to even get to the screen where it tells me there is no free trial (i mean, not really - you get a free trial but then it auto subscribes you to the service) so I already feel this app has taken something from my and given nothing in return. I wouldn’t trust it with my lunch money, never-mind my finances.

can’t even make an account until you invite friends. my finances are not a competition between my friends and i, this app is useless to me.

Got it from tiktok of course, saw the review about credit card fraud but I was like “oh that was a year ago,” so I am here to make an updated review where I also experienced credit card fraud after downloading it in 2024. 🙃

We do not need the same notification at the same time EVERY HOUR oh my god I didn’t even use it that much I had to delete it cuz of the notifs

Great concept but doesn’t have a great bank verification system or intuitive clicking within the app. I downloaded it for 5 minutes and when I finally got through all the sign up steps, found out that my bank account was unverifiable through their third party services.

Crashes after picking the 5 contacts, also what it I don’t split bills with 5 people very often, why do we have to pick 5 people

Forces you to share the app with 3 contacts (like you can’t make an account until you do it). Feels scammy. Weird marketing choice for an app that wants you to link all your banking info. You would think they’d want people to feel comfortable.
