OS Maps: Walk, Hike, Run, Bike

Brilliant app and love the ease of use to create own routes you can export as GPX for watch use. I like the fluent transition when switching between detailed and global maps. I hope you will release an app for the Netherlands too, I will definitely buy this, like many others will.

Offline maps are crashing all the time worthless!

Als je door Engeland trekt en niet overal waar je komt papieren wandelkaarten wilt kopen, is dit een handige app. Neem een abonnement voor een maand en je kunt kaarten en routes downloaden, zodat je er offline op kunt wandelen.

Are Ireland 1:25000 maps included in the paid subscription?

I paid for my local maps. They are all downloaded. EVERYTIME I go for a walk : black screen + “you are offline, failed to change layer” WHAT IMBECILE coded this? Get him to test it once before releasing it????? It says the developer gave a response: “they were improving map loading speeds?” This is unrelated. The current failure is easy to replicate or test: Do the OS maps load when phone is in “airplane mode”? Or do the maps fail to display “topographic” maps and instead display the yellow error “failed to change layer” and display only black. For a map (used in the countryside), working without internet connectivity is essential.

Great value for money

Paid subscription via apple account - attempting to login and app says I have no account. No obvious way to contact os to rectify. Terrible service!!

Far too expensive after the recent price hike, I have therefore stopped my subscription. Also you can’t download paper maps without a paid subscription, you should be able to if you’ve bought the paper map. Disgusting. I can’t even download paper maps I have downloaded in the past when I was paying the subscription. It’s just another example of rip off Britain and a govt agency screwing us.

My Dad got me a subscription to OS maps for a birthday present and I have renewed it each year since. It is the best app on my phone and iPad. I record my walks then study them later at home, I plan new routes, I use it everyday. Highly recommend for anyone who likes walking, cycling, or driving.
