Owlet
Please develop an app for Apple Watch or other smart watches or build a widget for IOS.
Any of this solution can really help to quickly and useful monitor data on the regular basis. At the moment it is hard to go to the app each time for example if you need to see data every minute or a couple of minutes because when you block phone or close the app next time when you open it take some time to reload (shows old results and you wait when it will be refreshed).
Also please add an option to change UI language inapp.
If you develop notification settings (for example set up a notification for O2 lower than 93% etc) you will make lots of people happy and healthy.
Thanks
Server error
After trying to connect to another WiFi, I got server error and support offered me to delete baby profile and create the new one. But I want all my historical data back!
Also please add ability to export historical data, so I be able to import it to another application that holds all other vitals of my baby

Your app “add device” flow is full of bugs. The registration is frustrating.
There is no way to reach your support.
Overall experience is ok. Missing some crucial reliability features.
The app works as expected most of the time. It has delay of a few seconds and that is generally expected and acceptable. The problem is that there is no way to know the delay. Is it 3 seconds or is it 30 seconds? Also, if the internet drops for some reason during the night, there is no alert and the camera goes quiet without waking us up. This makes the product unreliable for night time monitoring.
Can’t register brand new sock!
After setting up Wifi for base station successfully, an alert “This device is not compatible with this app. Download Owler Dream app” — but that app does not exist! And this is brand new sock from Owlet Dream Duo package, pricy as hell! Hope it’s a bug but damn how can BABY MONITOR break trust so hard right from first minutes of use!
Connection issues
The base station and app are plagued with wifi connection issues. If the base station is disconnected from power the whole station has to be reset because it won’t automatically connect back to the wifi or the app. Setup can be seriously painful as well having to open browser connect to the wifi manually going back into the app only for the app to still not be not connect. When you pay $400 aud you expect the software to function first time around and you’d expect it to automatically establish its link again.
Sock is great, app is horrible
The sock is awesome, it’s great to have something to monitor your baby’s heart and oxygen. The app on the other hand is poorly developed, has extremely poor connectivity at times, records blank spots while monitoring baby’s vitals and doesn’t connect properly via 5G internet even though it’s supposed to be compatible with dual-band routers. The app really needs an extreme makeover.
Waste of money
I have owned this camera for over four years and every time I open the app I’m waiting for the latest form of bug to affect the use of the product.
Whether it’s poor connection errors, the loading screen that doesn’t appear to ever load, the camera itself requiring factory resets, audio cutting out after 15 seconds the list goes on. I’ve replaced routers, changed Internet service providers, moved properties and yet still the app will fail to connect to the camera.
This product is unreliable and I definitely would look at alternative cameras if I had my time again.
The sock is great, the app is atrocious
Like the title of this review states, I do not have a problem with the sock. It is fantastic. The app however is horrible to use. It constantly crashes and I am continuously having to delete it then redownload it back on my phone because I can’t use the features. If I click on the sock option, it goes onto the page and immediately says “Sock 3 (name of child) has been removed) then the app crashes. I do not feel comfortable relying on the app to warn me of the possible situations where I’m counting on it to work. Please fix these issues, we paid a lot of money for this sock (and therefore the app) and it’s not okay that it doesn’t work as intended.
Room for improvement
I love the sock so much but the app can be quite frustrating at times. The app is slow to load up and notifications are delayed. Our base station will go off due to a sock placement issue but when I go to snooze it on my phone is takes some time to load and unfortunately the base station continues the alarm during this time. The camera lags too and often will send me notifications saying that it detects crying when we aren’t even home. I feel like all these things could be fixed with an software and app update. I also think it would be highly beneficial if Owlett created a widget for the iPhone so that you can have the stats showing on your Home Screen as a live feed without having the app open.
