Packt Reader

Doesnt show my bought Videos/Books. I see only „Jump Back“ to my already started titles. Bad menu, bad player with no options, mostly useless.

Packt is a Publishing Company that produces books. You would think that they would know that a Sans Serif font is terrible for body copy. This makes it hard to read whick completely negates the app for day to day use. On their Website this does work, so no excuses here.

Without access to the personal library the app makes no sense

Cannot login when iPhone is in Lockdown Mode. Always states, that the credentials are invalid. Login via safari works. Deleted the app again.

Unusable on ipad pro due to crashing when accessing video content

It would be nice if the “jump back in” function could take me right to the page I stopped reading. I love it and use it anyway, and the content is simply great.

I don’t know how they can continue to publish apps that are this bad. I don’t like the direction Packt is going on general. Imo there get more and more unprofessional, not just regarding this app. Maybe they should read the books they’re publishing.

The app seems to has been changed: Recommendations and new offerings but I couldn’t find access to my purchased books.. in such way useless for me.

It’s pathetic that something as basic as single sign on isn’t available

A beta app at best. Gets the job done but with a few bugs and a lot of missing features. I will still continue to use and I hope they invest some money into it
