Totally perfect stay! staff where very welcoming and helpful. Totally worth the money
Hi after staying at the park plaza on the 12 - 14 of august. Enjoyed the hotel the room and the breakfast. Very disappointed with staff. Day 1 after spending 3 hrs traveling to london in the hot sun. Tried online check in and digital key that did not work. Had to go to reception to check in it took 25 minutes kids got bored waiting to long in that heat. Day 1 booked early check by two hrs and late check out by two hrs. Seemed to have trouble at check in with the room we were going to. We were given rm 730. We got to the room there was a card on the dresser it was for a lady named krishner wishing her a happy stay. The room was laid out for 3 guests three sets of towels three bottles of coke three bottles of water. I went to reception to get more towels i was told they would be sent straight up. 3 hrs later still no towel had to go to reception again.On the room itinerary it stated slippers and bath gown's we got none. I mentioned this on 5 occasions nobody seemed interested. The girls aged 11 and 12 were looking forward to those. Day 2 just got on with vacation. Day three went out after a nice breakfast. Got back to the hotel at 12 15 pm could not get cards to operate lift but another guest got in so we went to the room. Tried cards no access. Went back to reception we were given two new cards. Went back to the room after about 20 mins a lady worker at the hotel let herself in our room not so much as a knock. I told her to leave she said the room should have been vacated at 12. I told her we booked a extra 2 hrs days before.so i went to reception to complain about the person entering the rm where are kids were. I was told it was a mistake and would be sorted out. So i went back to the room after about Another 20 mins as we were getting showered ready for our trip back another lady a cleaner came in with a trolley. I told her to leave and went back to reception. I went back to the same man i complained to the first time. Told him i was not happy he went and got a manager.it seemed to me the manager was the first person who actually listened to my concerns. The manager agreed it was not acceptable and offered me the money i paid as early and late check out back.she also offered me free drinks but after spending all that time at check out i had to decline as it was time to leave for home. Not best impressed. Ps what happened to the slippers and bath gowns.

Main reason I booked this hotel so very disappointing
From the minute we walked in till the moment we left our stay was a pleasure.Elliot who checked us in was polite and well mannered and nothing was a Trouble for him . The food amazing . The location brilliant walking distance to all major attractions. The area felt very safe and I would not hesitate to stay again
Arrived at the hotel, digital key doesn’t work and no one to help
Can’t get the latest app to work, get to the payment page when checking in remotely and just hangs, none of the options load to pay!
Well I won’t write a review of the hotel here, (have yet to stay) but just a few words regarding the app. It looks very impressive and seems to tell me all I need to know, and the digital key idea is a brilliant one. However, when I came to check in, I was prompted to update guest details for the three other people in my group. Unfortunately it seemed to randomly save/not save guest names. So I tried to enter details again and hit the save button, but it would only save details for two of us, leaving the other guests as named “unknown”! Off you can get that sorted I’d give it more stars.
The hotel is great - I’ve stayed there loads. The app is indescribably poor and barely if ever works. The experience is you go to the login screen, enter your details then wait. Nothing happens for a while, followed by… nothing. Sometimes you are lucky and get a “you are logged in” screen but then the only available option is the back key which takes you back to the original menu where you find your are now logged out - meaning important options like booking room service or a pool slot are unavailable. And they won’t let you swim unless you’ve used the non-working app to book a slot.
