Parking Mobility

As a person with a disability who uses a chair full-time, I have attempted several times to use this app. This app asks that you take not just a photo from the back of the vehicle to show the plate but also the front of the vehicle. Has a wheelchair user the majority of time it is impossible to get to the front of a vehicle in order to take a photo of the plate, and sometimes a photo of the windshield to show the disability parking placard. If you cannot obtain a photo of the front of the vehicle, this app will not except your “complaint“. So somewhat it is at times in accessible to use an app to report violations of accessibility!

Pretty useless app.... they say they want you to take the pics using their app and upload them on the spot to give the authorities the necessary info and to avoid people doctoring photos. Truthfully it only takes a few seconds to get attacked and although they claim it takes little time to complete the process as others have mentioned it’s really dangerous to force people to stay in the vicinity of the individual committing the offense as people do not like getting caught. Photos are all meta tagged with info so you should be able to take pics and upload when it’s safe, I’m also pretty sure the authorities can tell when something is doctored however that point I do see as somewhat valid. Also if the infraction is happening in a parking lot.... where most handicapped parking spots will be found, the police won’t do a thing unless the owner of the property is the person reporting. I downloaded the app and deleted it almost immediately, who has the room to store useless apps on their phone? You might as well just report the incident to the authorities but chances are they won’t do jack anyway

Basically useless if you are disabled in most places. Insists on you having to open the app open and take multiple shots which put my safety at risk if the driver returns. Or can use the snap a pic i text and send it to the parking authority who at least know the dangers we face in confronting abled people. App needs to accept photos from camera roll not look for the right button on a complex app. Often we don’t have long to take a pic. We ARE threatened for taking pics so don’t use this app if you are around where I live. Good idea, terrible execution.

I took a few pictures tonight and left the scene because i was in a hurry and when i wanted to report the violation I couldn't upload the pictures. You can only upload them on the spot which is not very practical. Definitely something that needs improvement. Otherwise a great tool!

The Parking Mobility App is a new ingenious way of getting Social Justice on a self-egotistical individual who parks in the Disability Spot with no Permit or personal need to be there. They come bouncing out of the store clicking their security buttons on their keys and jump into their vehicle with little if any goods purchased. You stare at them and wish you could have had a sledge hammer in your hand. Using this App allows you to take a rear view of their Plate with enough in the picture to show the disability location, take a picture of the front with mirror and dash with no permit visible click on the GPS location and email to the appropriate authority for their appropriate action. Hopefully resulting in a Fine. I love it, now I just do a Slow Burn and Smile and push the email button. Budd

I'm temporarily with limited motion and have only had my parking pass since Feb. This means I am not "in the know" with where they are, particularly in other parts of the city. Can't wait to use the violation report function!

This app is great for helping access around a key service : disability parking. There are some new releases coming that will make it even better.

Great app. Quick and really nice looking. Great time saver for looking for accessible parking.

Reporting vehicles was going great, until I had one declined. Apparently the ppl behind this are ignorant of my State’s laws regarding what makes a placard or license plate expired/invalid; even when the statute was provided. Use if you want, but I will be deleting the app, because it is an obvious waste of time and effort.

Better to just slash their tires.
