Paxton Key

Works most of the time on my phone. Never works on my watch: force closing the watch app brings the key back sometimes. So far I have never managed to open a door with my watch - not even once. No wallet support. Wish I had the choice of using something else.

Nottingham city council made a big mistake investing in this product. The system worked just fine when using an access card and now it doesn’t work at all. Hopefully they back out.

The system seems to have a few bugs that frustrate my users. Apple IOS denied access is a regular occcurrence, removing and re adding the key fixes this sometimes but more often we are now having to issue Fobs, which is not what we wanted.

The concept of this app is great. The technology is very poor. It is slow, intermittent and for some reason my apple wallet opens when the phone is near a reader. Clearly big issues with this! Avoid or they need to do some urgent fixes!

App works well for what it is - not had any issues so far 👍

I can’t believe how bad this app is!!! Please sort it out

When the Paxton system on our site was working this app was unreliable with users frequently having to shut down every single app on their phone before the phone key would allow entry. Then the on site server failed and it took three weeks before Paxton would acknowledge the fault. Paxton is now being removed from our site. Good riddance.

It intermitatly works to open doors and the watch function doesn't work at all when present to a reader it bring up my card as if to try and make payment… hopefully these issues can get resolved asap.

No Wallet support and very hit and miss on when it decides to work.
