Pestle: Recipe Manager

The first website I tried wasn’t able to scan the recipe successfully. Not great, especially as it worked on other competing apps. Will give a miss if this is what you can expect on a subscription.

Downloaded the app, started the free trial, tried to paste two links from instagram (with info from descriptions) and didn’t work. Bummer.

Have been using this with my partner for the last few months, love the household feature so we can both keep track of recipes and plans. One small feature I’d like is to have it so that the widget on the home-screen displays ‘notes’ as well as recipes, because sometimes I’ll write “leftovers” or whatever for the meal-plan, but the widget will display it as “No meals planned for today”. But small points for an otherwise great app!

Amazing app. If you ever find yourself trawling though endless Web pages. Looking at recipes, trying to actually find the recipe between all the adds and pop ups. This is the app for you. Pulls the recipe out of all the mess, and saves it for you. Been so useful.

Easily the best recipe keeper app I have ever used

Me and boyfriend use it so we have a shared meal plan which we can make in minutes at home. Lovely UI, super easy to use, and love how easy it is to add recipes from the web. Highly recommend!

Love the app, the interface is simple and easy to use. One bonus, it would be great to have button to add from a recipe what ingredient needs to be added manually to the reminder for grocery shopping

how do you sync between app on ipad and iphone

This is a very useful app for people like me who like to find online recipes for future use. The advertised features seem to work well (I can’t get the shopping list to work, but it’s likely to be me). A separate section for oven temperature with the ability to touch to switch between gas, °F and °C would be helpful. Overall, I am very happy with the app and have used it frequently over the last couple of weeks.
