PAL website displays available seats left whereas the app doesn’t.

You gotta consistently shutdown and close the app to get on the page you needed! Devs should do better.

This app gives you that terrifying feeling that Philippines Airline invest in maintenance engineering expertise like it does with software engineering expertise. It is a functionally useless app!

App is useless! You can’t even register nor add a trip! Same as on their website! I can’t register an account to manage our flight!

Aggravating experience with this old, slow, buggy app fitting for a third tier carrier that charges an outrageous fee to book EVERY aisle seat on the plane on top of the normal better seats. Data entry wipes everything if you did not enter an answer at useless fields like suffix and is not aware we use mobile phones this century so insists on a zone code. The payment system offers PayPal but then cannot process. Payment by credit card processed one sector then said it had issues with the credit card despite entry of a NetCode from my bank then asks to verify the card details in a profile that is nowhere to be found. Tried registering to maybe have access to a profile but on third screen after all the details, all attempts at creating a password are rejected as no password criteria shown anywhere. It makes me wonder what the airline service will be. Shocking!!!

The app now spams ads via push notifications with no way to opt out. Better off using a third party flight tracker.

The app is easy to navigate. Best feature for me is that the app patiently waits for input - sometimes you don't have all your documents to hand and need to get them, or the internet is a bit slow while you are trying to pay. Philippine Airlines is there where you left off, unlike other apps that timeout and erase all you have input after a minute being idle. So patient, so Filipino. Brilliant!
