No trial period
Without a trial period how can I know if the premium version is solving my problem. There are a ton of plant apps now and most of them do not provide adequate help even in premium version. For me to trust that this one does, I need to test it using a trial period. Would request you guys to atleast offer that.
No evaluation option
Increasingly there is a trend in the App Store where there is no way to get out an app unless you sign up for a bank mandate that is easy to forget shut. I have been burned twixe with accidental charges for simple apps that used to be free.. This one is no exception. How difficukt is it to identify a plant from an uploadec photograph. Years back i used to try this with a simpks free app. Now it requires me sign up for a 50$ annual plan. Thanks but no thanks.

Loving it
I’ve struggled to keep plants alive but this app has helped a lot. I’d love a feature that would adjust my plants’ schedule based on vacation or being out of town. And give suggestions of what tasks can be postponed vs the plants that cannot go without care.
Needs work but it’s almost there
My top gripes are that you can’t log temperatures and humidity, you can’t add your own illnesses you have to use dr.planta, and you can’t make more customizable schedules. As an obsessive plant parent I would really like to be able to see data about my plant. It would be helpful for me to know specifically how wet the soils stays and what temperatures and humidity the plant seems to be thriving in. A more growth assisting app would be so helpful. I want more than just a basic reminder app. I think AI could probably help a lot to make a more informative and effective app that is not so restrictive!

Don’t worry about your plants dying anymore
Game changer. I’ve been using Planta for over 2 years now and my plants are close to reaching my ceiling. Takes all the guesswork out of taking care of your plants because it’ll tell you when it’s time to water, mist, repot etc. I don’t pay for any apps except this one fr. This isn’t even sponsored lol my plants are just doing too well and honestly I only know how to take care of them because of planta
No iPad or browser support
No iPad or windows/browser support is a shame. Need to delete several plants, and have to use my tiny phone and go one by one
