Dissapointment
Was eager to give the app a try in the pursuit of gaining my mobility back. The idea of a mobility test was the very thing that convinced me, and unfortunately also the thing that stopped me from subscribing. For some reason after the tutorial video has ended, and after I get asked wether I’ll be performing the test alone or with a friend, when I choose either option, I end up on the following page that won’t fit my screen and thus preventing me from moving forward.
Zero Support
Instructor was missing a leg and unable to properly demonstrate the stretches. I watched three times and couldn’t determine what to do. The Contact Support and Help Center buttons are not linked to pages. Pretty discouraging after I bought a mat and paid for a subscription ($200 total). My first targeted stretch was a bit of a let down.
Don’t recommend
I just can’t get behind a company that continues to raise their price but doesn’t improve their product. To me it’s not worth $10 a month let alone $20 which is what they are charging now. Then when you ask for a refund the same day they take your subscription out they won’t give you one.
Great routines, needs more audio controls
I’ve been using this app for over a year and love using it as a way to start my day or wind down after work. My only complaint is that the narrator talks way too much, especially if you’ve been using the app for a while and know all the basics. It would be great if there was a control to remove or reduce the narration (but not the music and sound to change poses). Thanks!
Sketchy app behavior
Doesn’t allow sign up on the app, payments are handled outside of the Apple ecosystem and while Sign in with Apple is an option on the App, it’s not option to sign up with. All this makes it not so trust worthy.
Written directions
I was hesitant to try this app because of the cost but decided to give it a try because I’m not in my 20s (or 30’s) and have some aches and pains. I like the stretches, but the directions are wild. For $19 a month there should be videos of every single stretch. As someone who learns visually this app is almost no help. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to keep looking for something else because this will not work.
Dark patterns in cancellation process
Don’t trust these developers with your credit card details. They make it very hard to cancel the subscription. Earlier this year there wasn’t a way to do that without emailing support. Now there is a process which takes 4 steps, and they require you to enter more of your info before allowing you to cancel. I thought I had successfully cancelled, but then caught a charge on my credit card. Contacted them, and they wouldn’t refund because it was past 5 days after the renewal. It’s very clear to me that they set this to 5 days so that users would not be able to catch the unexpected charge on their credit cards in time to get the refund.
Life Changing
I am in my late 40s and retired military. I suffer from chronic joint issues in my shoulders, back, knees, and ankles. My range of motion was garbage and my daily life was filled with pain. It got so bad that even yoga was hard to do. Physical therapy only helped so much. I felt so defeated. Then, I found Pliability. I committed to 30 consecutive days and from the very first session I could feel a difference. It’s been over a year since started and I continue to use the app regularly. I feel better than I have in years. This app helped me get my life back, physically and mentally. I am so incredibly grateful to the team that built it. THANK YOU!
Terrible across platforms
The web browser version and the Apple TV app do not have the same content as the app and you can’t access what you’ve favorited across platforms
